5 star stuff but a bit pricey for one. A/C will cost $80 but no A/C is $45. All new modern and nicely fitted. Pool is awesome. Right next to Padang Padang. They also rent out scooters. The restaurant is seperate to the accomodation and is expensive(for Bali) but you get really nice food and coffee. WiFi is good as well. Would recommend especially if your taking your misses and she doesn't want to slum it. Joe, the manager at reception will sort you out with all your needs.

Even though the Pink Coco is a famous place to stay for surfers, it is definitely a great place for all other kinds of tourists! My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights and booked the Penthouse which is worth the higher price (compared to the other rooms). The Penthouse has its own big balcony, outdoor seating and a little living room inside. The bathroom features a very nice shower and for those who are tired of the beach, the hotel has two quite big and round swimming pools (that can be used 24/7)! Upon my inquiry in advance, the hotel staff even organized a wonderful candlelight dinner for us (Valentine's Day) on our balcony and provided a dedicated server for the whole evening! Thanks a lot for the great experience, Pink Coco!

Room Tip: Penthouse is worth the money

I stayed here with my Mum for 2 nights, we absolutely loved the Pink Coco, would definately stay again, great staff, great smallish hotel, nice resturant.
Room was huge, had a beautiful bathroom, very clean and modern, but not overdone.
Trattoria resturant was really nice, great italian food, little expensive for bali, but worth it.
It's a bit of a hike back from the beach, up a big hill and the steps down to the beach are quite steep. Not a bother for us, but might not be too good for the unfit or elderly.
Breakfast wasnt included for us, but a short stroll up the road was a lovely cafe called Buddha Soul - Organic Fusion, beautiful breakfast and reasonably cheap food, however the breakfast at the hotel was lovely too.
No shopping around this area but can buy a few sarong's etc from the girls down at the beach.
Beds were comfortable, only thing distrupting my sleep was the roosters next door, but that comes with Bali and wasnt really a bother for us.
Enjoyed my stay here and wish I had of stayed a little longer, would definately stay here again.

Room Tip: We had the rooms up stairs at the back of the hotel, looked over the pool.

This place is a real pearl amongst other places in south Bali.
All rooms are built around the pool area which is just awesome. Recommend the seaview room - very clean, big and comfi.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Adjacent italian resto is a little overpriced but has a good breakfast and pizza.
Rather go to the warung of Padang Padang Inn (as you leave the hotel turn left for about 100 meters) - breakfast, lunch, dinner...cheap and excellent food!!!
I would always come back to Pink Coco when being in south Bali!!

This charming boutique hotel may be in Bali's surfing central, but it is not for surfers only! It is a smart, comfortable, and reasonably priced place to stay in one of the most beautiful parts of Bali. It is Pink, yes, but fortunately more adobe than boudoir, and it works esthetically, especially with crisp white trim and abundant blossoms and greenery draping from its balconies. The two pools are sweet, and connected by a gentle waterfall; save your exercise swimming for the nearby beaches, however, as these are strictly for relaxing. The breeze and ceiling fans keep the rooms cool enough most of the time, but there is air con as well.

The on-site Italian restaurant is very good, and since no breakfast is included, it is nice to have it right there.

There was reference in an earlier review to construction noise during the day, and it is there but quite in the background as a tap-tap-tap of hammers building an addition to the hotel.

Currently management is not on-site full time, but they were easily available and both the lovely woman who greeted me and Jojo Munthe, the actual manager, were most helpful and gracious. The only recommendation I would have is to install a handrail for easy access to one if not both of the pools: some visitors may be of a certain age and be grateful for the safety this would offer.

I highly recommend Pink Coco, and look forward to returning. Soon!

We staid four nights in an air conditionned room upstairs with nice sea view. We are very satisfied, except for the electrical lighting which is very poor: No bed light, impossible to read in the bed, and low lighting in the sitting place, where it is difficult to read.
The TV does not offer a french channel (TV5).

Dear valued customer,

Thanks for your comments after your stay in PinkCoco. We have not placed coffee or tea making facilities in all the rooms but we plan to do so soon.

In regards to the bathroom amenities we have kept the items at a minimum with just soap and gel/shampoo in order to control expenses and therefore keep the rates more affordable. Bearing in mind that we only have 12 rooms in the hotel, once we include amenities, that not everyone needs, the rate will need to be adjusted thus, we feel would be better not having them as most of people travel with their own amenities.

Nevertheless we will ask our Manager to have some amenities ready in case of request and to plan having them in the sea view rooms. It is correct that the hotels features two type of rooms, some with AC and other with fans which normally is good enough for many people which they prefer to pay a lower rate.

For next year we will open the new adult rooms, a new pool , a Spa and a new Café. We want to keep the hotel with low number of rooms so that everyone feels special.

Thanks again for your comments and listening to our guests is the only way we have to try to get things better.

Stay cool, no rules

We stayed at the Pink Coco for three nights - the rooms were very clean with nice flooring, shelves to store your items, really nice open air bathroom and nice structural touches throughout. However, the pink color theme was a bit much for us. The rooms do not have coffee, tea, electric kettle, shampoo, lotion or any of the other amenities you would expect for the price. Tea in the adjacent restaurant is $3 USD per cup and we could not get a decent (overpriced) cocktail at the restaurant.

We thought we had reserved into a room with air conditioning but our room only had a fan and it was uncomfortably hot. We were able to get AC for one night for an additional IDR 350,000 and that room was much larger with a television and beautiful sunset views.

You can walk to Padang Padang beach, a few restaurants and shops easily from the Pink Coca. However, to really get around you'll need to rent a motor scooter. We rented some from the shop next door and had an absolute blast checking out all the beaches around S. Bali.

Room Tip: Get an upstairs room with air conditioning, they are much nicer than the ground level rooms with a f...
