Eka, bartender on pool is very kind and helpful. We loved his service. Also, Yogi, the manager is welcome and professional. They made our experience. Wonderful location. Big rooms, clean and beautiful.

Stayed here for 4 nights Room 3302 with pool view.
Check in was fast and friendly. The hotel is large and finding your way around the maze of corridors takes a bit of time.
My room was ok but dated and in need of some TLC. The room air con was excellent.
The pool bar area had a pool table and table football game. Management should move the table football away from the bar it is very noisy and too close to the bar if you want to relax and watch tv.
Breakfast was included the choice was by.
The hotel has taxi service available they have set fees but you can do a deal with drivers who will wait and return you,prices are reasonable.
Airport around 30minutes away.
Kuta beach 50minute to an hour away.
Dreamland beach 1minutes.
Kuta Nee golf course is next to the hotel.
The food menu I would not recommend I tried a steak it was uneatable. I wasn't charged for it.
If you want a totally quite place to stay this may be ok. Otherwise stay clear.
We booked three nights at Le Grande Hotel off the Expedia website and after the second night there we decided not to worry about staying the last night and instead booked an extra night at the next stop which was Hotel Nikko in Benoa Beach, Nusa Dua.
The property, as the title states, is rundown & in desperate need of a re-vamp/renovation.
The exteriors are all water stained and the facilities are unkept and sometimes on the unsafe side.
The pool decking timber planks were rotting away and some even lifted up when you walked on them which is really dangerous for adults and kids.
The main pool floor is like a cheese grater, and my 3yr old sons toes got blisters on them from walking along the bottom.
Our room #4309 was way at the back of the hotel right next to what appeared to be the maintenance work sheds where some noise coming from that area was quite disrupting.
The curtains in the main glass sliding door to the balcony where broken and weren’t able to draw them completely closed.
We found a few small dead cockroaches on the floor next to the bed.
The privacy blind for the bathroom got stuck half way down so there was restricted privacy at shower and toilet times.
When checking out we requested at reception for them to arrange a blue bird taxi but they refused and made us pay for one of their own transportation vehicles at a high cost.
I would not feel comfortable to recommend this property to any of my friends or family.
At best, I would rate it overall as a 2.5 star hotel.
If you want a quiet holiday, this is the place to come to rest and lay back to the pool. A few negative points: food is very basic, hotel is old and lacks a bit of entertainment, its far away from everything, please change your rates for transportation (taxi is 5 times cheaper), water from the tap is very dirty
Positive points: its cheap, beautiful golf course next door,issolated from mainstreet (quiet x chill), Loved the swimming pool and gym, good cocktails.
We booked a Pool Access Room. Upon check in, we were advised that our room was not ready despite the fact that we had put our arrival time when making the reservation. But it was settled quickly and we got our rooms in more or less 15 mins.
It was such a long way to go to our room due to the shape of the grounds and it confuses us. The railing on our curtain was off but we did not bother ourselves to call the team as we can fix it on our own.
Room was cozy enough and it was clean. We had to request additional towels as the set up was not complete. They have no face towel nor hand towel set up. But it was no big deal.
Overall, it was a good stay.
everything looks super nice when you arrive, you go through this car gate and this guy opens the door for you and take care of your luggage, escorting you to your room. You dont understand why no one is staying here.
Then you starting to realise why...
Food at the resturant was terrible, (atleast the burgers) we were bearly able to finish them... wi-fi speed was horrible once you even managed to connect to it. My friends room didn’t have any warm water but since there so many empty rooms he could atleast after around 20h get a new room so he could take a shower.. and when I tried to take a bath the other day the warm water stopped like bearly covering my legs. Staff is without any energy. Like leeches your positivity whenever you see them. Second day of our stay we asked if its possible to rent motorbikes (scooters) at the hotel. They said like no problem just not for that day cause they didn’t have any scooters avaliable but that they would be ready for 11 am tomorrow. But when we arrive 00.30 pm they looked confused had us to wait for 20 min then explained that their delivery company only managed to provide with 1 scooter and our company is 3 ppl, we were super dissapointed cause we had all this diffrent stops in mind, and the guy at the reception promised us he was gonna call around get our motorbike and we waited an extra 30min then my mate had enough and went to the pool instead. We explained were just gonna have them for tomorrow instead. But when we arrive 11pm, 2 days after we asked to rent the motorbikes they still couldn’t provide 2 motorbikes but they said that the drop off company was comming in 15min. We waited 45min then they told us our motorbikes was ready. When we went outside to get our motorbikes they still only had 1 motorbike. Since this hotel is in the middle of a golfcourse and isn’t close to anything, we have been forced to travell with taxi everywhere and since the place is out in nowhere you usually wait 15-30 min just after even getting a cab thats willing to go there.
This has almost felt like a prison, would only recommend to people who have no other intentions then to lay by the pool getting tanned.
