“Perfect cottage for 2 and a dog”
Reviewed August 9, 2018 for a stay in August 2018

Lovely barn conversion adjacent to host's house. Amazingly well equipped property, nicely furnished and all in the beautiful setting of Parwich. I wish we could have stayed longer. We had one or two unusual needs which were met without difficulty by the friendly and accommodating hosts. Strongly recommended.

“Peaceful dog friendly cottage”
Reviewed October 17, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Well equipped, clean cottage in quiet rural village. If you broke down in Parwich and had to stay here you would have all you needed for a few nights, lovely welcome pack including eggs, butter, milk and cake provided. We had a relaxing week here with our puppy, plenty of walking and public footpaths in the village and area. Scrubland behind the cottage for doggy toilet but lots of sheep so if your dog is not used to them, keep them on the lead. We were worried ours would try and chase something so we took her to the football field to let her run off lead, just a few minutes walk from the cottage. If you take your dog it must stay downstairs as not allowed upstairs, if you have no dog you would not even know that any dog had been there, the cottage is very well cleaned and cared for. Dog friendly pub also a few minutes walk away for meals, which also has a small shop.

Thank you for your lovely review. We love to hear from our guests and it was good to know that you had a relaxing time. We have our own puppy, Izzy, so are mindful of the livestock around. Like you we use the local recreation ground to free run her. Hope to see you in the future Ange Roebuck

“5 stars and more!”
Reviewed December 7, 2015 for a stay in December 2015

We have been coming to toms barn for at least 5 years now, probably even more! people say why do you keep going back to the same place.....Because it's an amazing place! Toms barn has everything and more you could possibly want or need in a self catering holiday rental.
furniture, bed linen, towels, all of a high quality,to the lovely fresh flowers, the homemade cake ,milk and eggs in the fridge,it really feels like our second home...if only!!!!
The barn is always absolutely spotless every single time,Janet and her team do an amazing job cleaning as I always feel like there has never been anyone else or dog! In there before us.
We can't recommend this place enough,if you haven't been and you are reading this review then book now!!
Angela and Robert the new owners are friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble,
5 stars.......

It is always nice to welcome previous guests back and to know that we are providing somewhere that they can treat as home with all the comforts and sometimes maybe a little more. Such lovely people keep coming to visit both previous guests and new ones. Thanks for a great review and I know you will be back to enjoy your 'second home' soon.

“Very relaxing break”
Reviewed October 24, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Thus was a top self catering barn with lots of extras such as an iPad, robes, homemade cake and Sky TV. The village is very pretty and there are lots of walks locally. Chats worth is well worth a visit and the farm shop is excellent. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Thank you! We have never responded to a review before but are being actively encouraged to do so now and it;s lovely to start with you..! We are so glad you enjoyed yourselves so much again - we loved seeing you both and your two beautiful - and beautifully behaved - dogs. (Sorry about the lack of an enclosed garden. We always like to react to any suggestions for improvements that our guests mention but we can't easily do anything about that - all we can do is be sure dog-owners understand the situation beforehand.)
