We were very suprised when we first arrived at Jungle Hut. I don't know why, but we never expected it to be this nice. It's in a lovely setting near Mudumalai National Park. There are lots of animals walking around the large grounds, like sheep, chickens, cats and sometimes even a spotted deer. The garden is wonderful with all kinds of nice trees and flowers and the atmosphere is very friendly and laid back.
We had a large standard room, nicely decorated, with an enormous bathroom attached. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all buffet style, with lots of options. They have cards with the name of the dish on it, so you know what you're eating. But anything we ate tasted delicious.

The best part of Jungle Hut is their natural swimming pool. We never had a swim before with such a beautiful view! Also the water was really refreshing.

Highly recommended!!

Great Location, Beautiful setting (overlooking the hills), Clean rooms, Good food, Friendly hosts and peaceful.

Only recommendation will be to do away with the beverage vending machines and provide milk for tea and coffee. I am sure it can be sourced from the village nearby. Except for that.. everything else is good.

Keep up the good work.

Room Tip: Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable.

A great place to unwind. Set in the Mudumalai forest, the place is serene and a perfect getaway. The cottages are neat and comfortable and the food is delicious. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The morning treks are wonderful. There are a wide variety of birds in the resort itself and one can spend hours exploring and enjoyng nature.
A very enjoyable stay and highly recommended!

If you hv a kid n want to hv a peaceful vacation this is the place to go. Its neat n clean big size rooms. clean washrooms. Awesome food, its simple homemade not a long list of dishes but wat they serve is flavorful n true to local cuisine. There is plenty of tea n coffee for you all to drink. tons of ground for the kids to run arnd n the whole nature for them to keep busy. The staff is polite n accommodating.

Room Tip: we stayed in the standard room without A/C which was gud n worth the money.

Loved it.

The super friendly helpful staff Pooja, Ashita and Jerusha bent over backwards to accomodate us, the food was always absolutely delicious - buffet style meals included or a la carte also available.
Lovely place with the Western Ghats as a backdrop and conveniently located for the tiger reserve. We wished we could have stayed longer, but sadly it was a little beyond our budget! We'll hopefully be back again though!
Thoroughly recommended.

Food, cleanliness, bathrooms, beds and bedsheets hospitality and Foooooood hmmmm oh my God soooo yummy!!! everything was simply superb. But I must say one day is really not enough to enjoy the hospitality of Jungle hut people.. planning for a longer weekend very shortly!! waiting to come back to you Jungle Hut.. you can expect us anytime ha ha :) once again thank u for making our stay memorable :D

Room Tip: well we had opted for a standard Non A/C which was absolutely fine, but I must tell you deluxe rooms...

Lovely experience. Great location, lovely hosts Vikram and Anushree, fabulous food. The tents are roomy, have beautiful views, loos are squeaky clean. The early morning trek was very nice, by the time we got back Anushree made sure the kids had their milk ! Food was very much to my liking. They have home made pickles and jams ...garlic and chilli pickles are very good. I bought 3 bottles each and they are almost over. Also we saw wild dogs, a toddy cat, sambar and elephants.
