I visited this place with my husband, daughter and parents on 25th oct. I must say the place is must see and stay for families. Its management is friendly and professional at the same time. Homely food and ambience. Good value for the price. Safe for kids, must say my daughter enjoyed the most. Don't expect luxury as you have come to enjoy nature and you will, along with its birds and animals.

Before visiting I had heard a lot of mixed reviews about this place... And on returning from there I must truly say ... if you love nature, love to be in a serene environment and you do not want people to bother you, then it is a place to be. I stayed in the Tree house and what a place...view in the morning is fantastic... and in the night its pitch dark... yes you might hear few animals and lot of sounds... but that is why it is called a jungle, right! The food that is served is truly amazing, the host, Mr. Radhakrishnan will certainly make you comfortable. And if luck favors, you might also see some animals..... Advice to visitors, don't expect a hotel like feeling, remember you are in forest. Look for the wilderness then you will like it...Overall I had a wonderful stay and i look forward to visit again....

Room Tip: Tree house and Machaan is amazing for a wild feeling...

We visited this place along with friends last week. The place is definitely a must visit. The resort is located amidst lush green forest. We stayed in double room which is located on the main building. The rooms were clean and so were the bathroom which is a must for me. However the furniture was in bad condition including the cot and cupboards. The management has to revamp them cause its not just the outward appearance. Food was delicious and we enjoyed all the 3 meals. It was like icing on the cake along with the stay. In the evening there was bonfire and they also provided bbq chicken and roasted veggies. The sit out was the best part of the stay, we enjoyed the moment spotting listening to chirping of the birds and the lovely drizzle.
However in terms of recreation there was not much of activities. The manager informed us that the resort does not provide any nature walks as recently a foreigner was attacked by an elephant. So we didn't have anything to do in the evening. As the resort was packed they didn't have enough racquets for us to play. Though the resort has TT and carom both have worn out and that definitely needs to be replaced. The resort has to look for alternative recreational activities for the guest to enjoy the stay. The best stay of the resort would be the Tree house which faces the nilgiri mountains. To surmise visit this place Only if you are a nature lover

We first went to this place in December 1997 , and 16 years later we still go there every chance we get ,the most recent being May 2013. I think this stands testimony to the fact through all these years the place has managed to retain its jungle charm and intrigue. The food and service is excellent. The staff is very helpful and will go the extra mile to make you comfortable. Of course wild life sightings are a matter of chance, however the thrill of safaris remain. Trek and morning walks are other activities to indulge in. What sets the place apart is the non resort feeling it gives and the open access to wild life like deer and elephants. Highly recommended !!
It is definitely not for those looking for gyms and swimming pools in jungle resorts.

I stayed here with my wife and kid for a day, in a deluxe room. Room was clean and comfortable and so were the bathroom. All the staffs were kind and helpful and because of that I never experienced any difficulties through out my time there. Food was ok , but it's the only part that I think they need to improve. I will definitely visit forest hill again when getting a chance.

We stayed at Forest Hills Farm and Guest House during our recent weekend trip to Masinagudi. The Resort is very beautiful and well maintained and also located in a lovely lush green ambiance.
Tree House accommodation has made our stay even more pleasant. Tree house has two rooms with a common sit out area .The rooms are well designed with beautiful interior for a comfortable stay. We were the group of six members and occupied both the rooms. The common sit-out is very nice where one can sit and enjoy listening to sweet chirping of birds in the early morning or feel the beauty of the jungle at the dark silent scary evening. This is the ideal place for a tranquil weekend gateway in quiet spectacular natural surroundings. One can just go for a guided jungle trek or jungle safari in the morning and enjoy the games and campfire in the evening. The staffs are very friendly, cooperative and attentive. We truly enjoyed our two days stay at this Resort and experienced a perfect relaxing and rejuvenating weekend there.

Room Tip: Accommodation in Tree House or the Machan is definitely a better option.

We went to Mettupalayam National Park to rest and do some trekking in the nature and we choose this farm/resort by chance. It was a real surprise: the staff is really friendly and professional, the manager spends at least 15 minutes a day to speak with each and every guest. They are very helpful: they organise your treks with guides, trips by jeep to the park and elephant reserve, they suggest you when and where spotting the animals. The food is great Indian food, clearly homemade and there is always copious (often there is a buffet). The trekking you can do around the farm are beautiful, we spotted plenty of animals, even a bear, 200 metres from us!! It was really an amazing and relaxing stay. It is perfect for all type of guests: couples, families and groups of friends.
