“Terrible food and drink in a modern restaurant”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

I paid 50% more than eating by the beach, but had really bad food, except the fresh fruit! Coffee - Instant!
The atmosphere is good, staffs are nice, if I only need a place to sit down and only drinking water or fresh fruit juice is okay, but not the food!!!!!

“Good Atmosphere, Terrible Value”
Reviewed April 22, 2014

We ate breakfast here on our last day in Kamala. For the value and quality, this was the worst meal we had on our ten day trip in Thailand. It was the closest restaurant open and we needed a breakfast before going to the airport. If time permitted we would've gone the beach, and this is what we should have done. The Breakfast was advertised with fresh coffee (as reported by staff) and pastries straight from the "bakery." The scrambled eggs were OK, but the scraps of bacon, ham and hotdog (advertised as sausage) were tasteless and the bread and croissants were straight from a plastic bag. The coffee was nestcafe instant coffee which tasted like burnt trash. Upon asking they said it was "fresh" but after pressing them staff admitted it was instant, I'm not sure if they knew what fresh coffee was.

The breakfast was a full 65% more expensive than similar, more substantial breakfast offerings available locally and the service was very slow. We should've walked a little further where we would've found a nice bakery or gone back to the beach to Boom Bar which has a great breakfast for the value. No children's high chair.
