Owner description: This cultural theme park is divided into three sections: shopping in the Festival village, dining in the Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant and Vegas-style entertainment in the Palace of the Elephants.

This theme park was very disney-like , must be American owned. It is a truly beautiful park and a must-do for Phuket. Get there at opening time or you won't have time to do it all, especially if you are having the dinner. Dinner was good, 3 courses + coffee in a huge but stunning restaurant. ( Look for the sharks on the way in ). Gold seats are worth the bit extra and the show itself is fantastic. I did feel a little sorry for the elephants but accepted this as part of Thailand, it was hilarious when they had a pee in the middle of the show!
Overall it was visually-beautiful and the highlight of our 12 days in Phuket.

We saw the brochures and thought yes let's check it out. It wins all the awards etc. Not hard to do really in Phuket as there is nothing much of this scale around to compete with it.

We booked the Gold Class tickets and paid the extra. The seats we had were absolutely fantastic but there are a lot of seats gold included that could dissapoint you. The show itself was ok. Not very cultural. The animals were great but any animal show usually is. The performers were great and don't forget to look up.

Overall the show was ok - good to have gone but wouldn't really matter if you missed it.

Don't pay for the dinner buffet. It is overpriced and not quality. Stop at a restaurant beforehand and enjoy good food. Beware drinsk are not included in the buffet. (Water is of course)

There is nothing much to do if you are there too early then buy overpriced merchandise, and pay for your typical carnival rides and games. Some of these seem rigged so be aware.

BE AWARE: They will take your camera, phone and anything you could take a photo with off you once you enter the show arena. Very professional and careful cloaking area. Collected at the end. No Photos!! But as soon you have dropeed them off and walked through the gates they are hitting you up to buy photos with the animals. Very tacky and a complete rip off.

HINTS: After the show out side the arena they have all the elephants on show for you to get photos with. So don't pay inside. We just gave a 20 Baht tip to the elephant (yes) - they handlers take them on your camera.

They let you hold the tiger cub for maybe 5 secs when in the arena for photos - we just had the the "photo" done, held the tiger and then never bought the photo. So cute.

Eat before you go. Take some water or drinks or whatever if you have a family. They say no drinking in the arena then once you are in they try and sell you a drink???

If you go, kids will love it, we had some fun and had positives and negatives but we would never do it again as many other things to do.

Went there last night and my wife and I were totally not impressed. Her view: like a UN Day presentation in middle school! Maybe we adults have watched so many similar shows in Bali so once you've seen one you've seen them all.

Kids were impressed though. They liked the Siamese twins part and all the antics and magic that went with this particular segment of the show. Again, jaded adults that we are, we did not find anything spectacular or awe-inspiring with the magic show.

For the price of about USD50 (Baht1,500 without dinner) per person, Disneyland or Universal Studios in the US with all their shows and rides look like bargains.

Elephants were a saving grace although their performance is not long enough. Liked the colorful costumes which could have been better if they allowed us to bring cameras inside the theatre. If you liked exotic with a capital E, this show might work for you.

Price with dinner is Baht1,950, without at Baht1500. I say if you really have to watch the show, bring your Baht400 to Central Festival mall and eat sushi, sashimi or even the bento set at Fuji Restaurant.

If you are on a budget in Phuket, better skip the show and join a day trip to Phi Phi island instead.

We loved the show.. and we are a young couple! Great!! But DO NOT do the sideshow games.. they are a rip off. After watching one of them for a while (magnetic fishing) we realised that the targets where not magnetic.. we confronted the girl and she wouldnt let us prove it!!.. But the show was fantastic
