It was suggested to me to go and have a look at this. That it was a cultural experience. Unfortunately NOT. More of a cheesy theme park with no rides. I purchased the gold class seats with the upgraded seafood Buffet expecting a lavish night out. Instead, I with the many hundreds of others were herded around like cattle once we entered the presentation. The seafood buffet was reasonably nice, but unforgettably most of the seafood was overcooked; a lot of being way to hot for me. (If you like spicy chili, then you will be fine). The "international; buffet" was sad; Indian food and Thai food, with some fried chicken and salads. Not exactly an international variety. The decor and surrounds were very over the top, Gold and more gold everywhere. As for the show itself, it was average. Your cameras and phones are removed and put in storage before entering the show; as you enter area, they then have all the photo opportunities with animals. Nothing spectacular about it. Kids will love this place, but if you're an adult looking for nice food and a cultural night out (as advertised); don't bother. Very underwhelming.

“A Copy of Siam Niramit”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

I just visited the Phuket Fantasea at Kamala for the first time after a no. of trips to Phuket. The place, show and food is just so-so for a seasoned Thailand traveller like me. But it may be an eye-opener for a first-timer to Phuket or Thailand. Recommendation : Good for a novice traveller to Thailand.

“Expensive, but you are on a holiday!”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

Went with kids and family on October22nd. Gave the dinner a miss after reading all the reviews. Asked for an early pickup and was obliged, gave us enough time to go around and watch all the attractions in the park. Even if we had not booked for the dinner there was plenty to choose from all around.
The show itself is spectacular and all of us enjoyed it.
Though the crowds are massive, everything is well organised and there is no chaos.

“No VFM, go if you're interested in taking pics”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

we went to fantasea with high hopes only to returned disappointed. costing around 2100 baht pp its no VFM.. Yes it t has a well built architecture and u can snap with the elephants and tigers for around 900 Baht. You are allowed to take photographs along with the artists there and that too for a cost!! There's an illusion show of which the trapeze act is awesome. You need to be in the topmost theatre to view the magical stunts they carry out... hats off to their skill... Theres also a small bamboo foot dance which is foot tapping and really good. Rest guess you can really skip this one on your phuket trip and try something else for the money spent...

“A bit on the average .”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

The buffet was disappointing 2 family members become sick after eating the buffet. Show was okay but not as expected not alot of illusion in the show save your money and go to Simon Cabaret show instead.
