This resort is fantastic , rooms are well appointed and quite large.
The staff are fantastic, always happy and will go out of their way to help you.

We ate at the restaurant quite a lot and found the food very good and reasonably priced.
The prime restaurant by the sea .. Is right on the beach .. 15 steps and your on the beach

Room Tip: We had 2 rooms in our trip 7212 and 7214 looks straight out over one of the pools.

Went to this hotel in June 2012 which unfortunately in some ways was out of season, and although I enjoyed the fact that it was not crowded some bars and restaurants were not open. It is a good hotel, I was in the adults only side but went to the other part of the hotel a few times which seemed very pleasant, it was built to seem like family groupings.
The beach is not very wide so could get crowded when the tide was in, also not too clean as no one seemed to have the job of picking up the litter. The view of the sea from the seats in front of the restaurant was very good, especially in the evening when the sun went down.
The many pools and sun beds meant that there was always somewhere out of the sun or wind, and could be as peaceful as one wished.
The staff on the whole were attentive and helpful, the food was good with a choice at all meals. The all inclusive menu itemised what was in the dishes and how spicy they were. The bar people were on the whole happy to make the drinks just as wanted and often remembered what you liked.
Rooms were good and all had a balcony or patio. I was upgraded as the room I should have had was in process of refurbishment, I am very glad of this as I believe it would have been on the corridor used to going to and from the main restaurant and bar, this could have been noisy at night.
Take a torch if you are intending to go out at night as it can be dark away from the main road. Also if you wish to go to the town go from the beach there is a boardwalk beside the beach, the road from the main entrance has no pavement and is very busy.
There is a shop just off the main road in Kamala on the beach side that sells sim cards these will make phoning home a lot cheaper.
I would recommend the hotel for people who don't want a busy nightlife.

The hotel is very near Fantasea, an easy ten minute walk.
Kamala is mainly set along the main road, there are many little supermarkets and bars. I also found a very large hardwear store which I found fascinating (sad I know but you can find out a lot about the lives of local people from somewhere like this) and I got my superglue for 50p.

Room Tip: I always like an upper floor, less chance of little guests, also less likely to be disturbed at nigh...

Arriving at the Hotel, nice hello they say have to pay 1'050 baht for Internet in the room. strange that in agoda & Asiadirect it was written clearly that is included in room Service... so no Change to discuss. Frontdesk staff is really unfriendly and not interested to satify customer.. only Response.. you get a complain sheet to fill in for the Manager (ha ha .. good joke).
The rooms are really nice with all what u Need. Nice Swimming pools, about 7 and friendly People in the breakfast area.. Breakfast Quality for 4 star Hotel is not good enough.. we get better at less star Hotels...
Beach front is nice and it seems they learned from earlier complaints.. they come cleaning the beach now... Beach chairs are most expensive from Hotel 100 Baht each, 1 meter left for 75... should be reverse (in other Hotels we receive voucher for one time using free, not 4 star, can imagine)..

so the room Price is clear cheating, because you have to pay extra cost. for that Money you can go to other Hotels, better located...

The staff could not do enough to help me organise a 60 th birthday dinner. The room was set up as good as for any wedding reception. We have stayed at this resort on 5 different occasions and its just what a holiday is about-layback with great facilities. It's not 5 star but very comfortable!!

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pools are lovely. Rooms near the beach are smaller & older but if you'...

A great value for the price! Beachfront resort with comfortable accommodations and very good restaurant and bar. There are local eateries and shops along the beach. A hotel bus ride into Patong is cheap and efficient as the ride is only 10 minutes away. They also offered transportation to and from the airport for a fair price. This is a good home-base to explore Phuket.

Room Tip: A second floor room facing the ocean/pool area is nice! Closer to beach, restaurant and bar.

We had 6 nights here and it was an awesome 6 days. We started in a room on the second floor but asked for a ground pool view room, which we were immediately given as were the 3 other couples we travelled with. This meant we could walk straight out through the veranda to pool - awesome!
Thee was no excessive night noise, the room were very comfortable and a generous size. Beds wee comfortable too.
Breakfast was really really good, so many choices. the staff were all very welcoming (especially Chris the waiter at breakfast)
The entire staff were so friendly, happy and really seemed happy to be there
Will definitely return for another stay

Room Tip: Highly recommend this hotel, value for the money spent

We stayed here for a week last summer with another couple.
The hotel itself is big and modern, but there's absolutely no entertainment in or around the hotel. There was a schedule marking some recreational activities on it (yoga, aerobics,...) but none were actually held. The reception was doing absolutely nothing to help/introduce us to possible fun activities. There were just some brochures(about differnt island tours) lying on a desk in the lobby. They didn't even bother to show us or talk about different parts of the resort!
The hotel was almost empty and we hardly saw people around us! There are 4 pools, but that's basically all you can do there. The hotel is right at the beach but it's not a private beach and has no sunbeds or anything like that. The sand was dirty and not welcoming. Probably because it was the end of August and they didn't care anymore?! So we didn't use the beach at all.
The hotel is located in a remote location and it takes about half an hour to get to Patong (a small town). We only went there twice...it was expensive to get a taxi and Tuk Tuks were not easy to find(from the hotel). After all,we didn't want to travel a long way just to 'see' people!!
The restaurant (yes, there's only ONE restaurant for a huge place like that) was nice and had good food, but it was pretty pricey compared to other places. You really can't have all you lunches and dinners there every day, because it gets super boring after the 2nd day. So you have to get out....but where?! There are just a few little, dirty eateries close to this resort. Their food is healthy but they're hot and not so pleasant.)
The breakfast buffet was excellent.

In sum,if you're looking for a FUN vacation, this is NOT the place to go. We really got bored. However,if you're looking forward to "just" relaxation and doing nothing but lying on a sunbed in silence (they didn 't even bother to play music at the pool areas), this resort could be your choice. Older guests might enjoy it more.
After traveling to several resorts around the world, I recommend you finding somewhere that offers you both relaxation and fun. This way,you can relax at the beach( or by one of the pools) and enjoy the quiet times, and then join the recreation programs whenever you get bored.
