This is truly a heaven. Almost our three days staying here, staffs treated us like Vips. They met all our requests. The room was quite modern, spacious, especially bathroom with luxury amenities. We extremely enjoyed buffet breakfast and private dinner. The dinner that you could reserve , it was so romantic and staffs prepared it carefully in detail. We loved our stay here.

Our family stayed in a villa at Andara, and it was heaven! The setting is spectacular with our own disappearing edge pool overlooking Kamala Bay. It couldn't be more beautiful. We had so much space for our family of 6, plus friends, that it felt like we had the whole hillside. What really made it unforgettable was the food, with a 24-hour private chef and housekeeper just for our family. We could order off the restaurant menu, and our chef would cook it just for us in our villa's private kitchen. We ate poolside for every meal and didn't need to go to restaurants, because the best one came to us! It turned a family trip into an unforgettable family vacation. The concierge was helpful in making every possible arrangement, so we had maximum time to ourselves and just the right amount of sightseeing and culture.

And wonderful the concierge team were able to help with all your requests to round of a wonderful stay. We look forward to welcoming you again soon. Best regards, Daniel Meury, General Manager

This place is pure theatre. From the entrance, to the journey to your room, to the restaurant and the pool. Died and gone to heaven is a phrase that comes to mind. Luxurious beyond belief, enormous suits that desire you to move in permanently. And the views....

It has a fantastic General Manager who is always walking the property and the beach clubs to making sure the inmates are happy (we were). Silk Restaurant has always been a great place to eat and it didn't disappoint this time. It is probably one of the best restaurants on the island so to have it on your doorstep is great. The staff are enormously friendly (including the gardeners) and as they get to know you more become more open. Some challenges with the English language but then my Thai isn't brilliant.

Don't worry, we're returning next year for even longer. Did I mention the views.....

Having visited this hotel since it was first built and having eaten at their restaurant Silk we never thought, in a million years 1) that we would ever stay here or indeed afford to or 2) that we would abandon the hotel where we have stayed for over 10 years to do so! Well, reader, we did just that earlier this year and very glad we did too. It is breathtakingly beautiful and the rooms quite stunning.....so much so I would rather like to live there permanently but enough of that fantasy. Staff were charming though there is some difficulty still with English, particularly on the phone to room service or housekeeping.........made for some lively and funny misunderstandings. Pool area is huge and sun beds plentiful.....no getting up at dawn here to plonk a towel down......the majority of hotel rooms either have their own pool or rooftop jacuzzi.

The food overall was excellent and Silk restaurant still one of the best around. The very impressive GM is constantly 'doing the rounds' and makes all the guests very welcome. A new favourite for us and will we be back? Don't be silly......as soon as we can!

We spent 3 nights at this amazing resort. From the moment we checked in, everything was perfect. The staff were very helpful and attentive. We stayed at the 3-bedroom pool suite, it was so spacious and the pool at the garden was amazing. The bathtub was really huge that i am sure it can easily fit 2 people.

The thai restaurant at Andara - SILK is a multiple award winning restaurant that serves fantastic thai food. We really enjoyed our dinner there. The pricing is slightly on the high side, but for the quality, it is all worth it.

I will definitely return to ANDARA whenever I am back to Phuket again.

Check in lobby was grand and welcoming. Fantastic room and stay. We stayed at the 2 bedroom pool suite for five nights. Spacious, deep pool, big ensuite. Pity the bathtub does not have jacuzzi. I also can't get a block of soap from the concierge as they do not stock soap in house keeping. Only provide shower gel. But I thought if I'm paying a thousand US dollars per night, maybe they could send someone out to get a soap for me. Instead, concierge just says, no, they have no soap. Disappointing.
I'm a Durian lover, asked concierge on where to get durian and told can only get it in bigger towns like Potong instead of at Kamala. Though, just on the day of my departure, I found out durian is available in the supermarket just down the road and in the local market which runs on Wed and Sat. So, everything about the hotel is great, except for the concierge at front desk. We had lots of contact with one of the hotel drivers named Less who was very good. He was helpful and full of local knowledge. He should be at the front desk, I think.
I gave 4 stars for value because I expected a bit more from concierge given the price point.
Location is not right at the beach, however, it should not deter you. Because the hotel has several golf buggies on standby all the time to take you to Kamala beach for free at the drop of a hat. And there are also special sun beds and Andara staff to wait on you at the beach.
Spa was not available in the room's ensuite, disappointing for this price point.
Breakfast is good with western and Thai style food, but the breakfast spread is not as extensive as some of my other experiences. But, it's still very good, to be fair.
Room service food also good, they even set your table when your food arrives.
Very attentive restaurant staff.
There's even an Andara staff to help carry your luggage on the queue right to the check in counter at the airport. Now, that's great service.
I would go back there again because it was a very pleasant stay overall with you being pampered like a king, though, won't rely on the front desk being the culmination of information. Treat them more like just check in reception staff so you will not be disappointed. But now that I have found out about the local info I need, it wouldn't matter as much on my next stay. But a jacuzzi in the master ensuite would still be good if they are thinking about an upgrade.

Dear Jane - thank you for your review. It's great to know that overall your stay was a great one, but we realise there are some areas as you mentioned (concierge, FO) that require tweaking. All have been alerted to what occured, and they are certainliy intent on paying more attention. We hope you will come back and visit us again, where I look forward to welcoming you. Best regards; Daniel Meury, General Manager.

Two weeks ago my partner and I had the privilege of getting married at this beautiful resort. Everything was first class from the beginning to the end. The establishment itself, from the views, the location, the food and especially the service.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a fantastic and unforgettable venue for their wedding.

Thank you to the team at andara for making our day so special.
