Beautiful Villas, the pool is fantastic although at the same depth all over of about 1.5m it is a bit hard with kids. We bought some floatation devices from town and it worked out but good to for people with kids know. Also all the bedrooms are entered from outside so it's a bit weird again with kids as you don't want to 'lock' them in. The Villa is fenced though and has a lockable gate so we did that. I'm sure it's very safe but you never can be too sure....
The breakfast there is amazing, and the little bar/restaurant they have on-site is super cute and the food fantastic. Great for cocktails before you go out and they have a happy hour. They will also deliver the food to your villa so you can eat it at either of the dining areas inside or around the pool.
They give you a cell phone so if you go out you can just call at any time and they will arrange their driver to collect you. If it's not part of their scheduled run (which is free) there is a charge but it's super handy.
The staff are lovely. We paid them to babysit a couple of nights and they were just fantastic with Lucia. 300baht an hour.

Minuses - it isn't around anything else so you have to taxi to the beach, shops or Patong, although Kamala shops and beach is only a 6-7 minute drive away. There is a little 7/11 type place down the road where you can buy a pad thai and take out beers for the villa but no footpath - we didn't mind. You could use their bikes to tot down there tho.
We had ALOT of rain. Every day, and not just a quick downpour....

We did the Fantasea show which is at the end of the road - NB the buffet dinner there is the worst I have ever experienced in my life. Do not recommend it, although the show itself may appeal to some people.

Dear KiwiNessB

First of all I would like to thank you for your very informative review while staying with us.
Reading through your comment, I have to agree that pool can sometimes be quite deep for families with small kids but I am glad to hear that you had a safe and enjoyable stay.
In regards to your observations about breakfast, the cocktails served in Zhong's and the friendliness of the staff, each of the comments have been passed to the respective departments.
As for the minuses, I am really sorry to hear that the weather was not favorable during your stay and as for the poor buffet experienced in Fantasea Show, rest assured that such comments have been passed to the Fantasea team.
Once again I would like to thank you for taking the time to write to us and we hope to welcome you and your family back in a not so distant future.
Kind Regards,

We booked the 3 bedroom and 4 bedroom villas (Villas 7 + 8) over the long weekend in August 9 - 12 - for our family of 14 members.

As organiser - I was a little apprehensive as the MPV turned off from the main road - approaching the Resort. Approach road was pitch dark and has nothing around.

Everything went like clockwork once we entered the complex. The units were as described in the pictures.

Breakfast time was fun - with food all spread over the table + onto the table next to the sink. Enough for everyone..... they did messed up the orders on the last morning but they were quick to rectify our orders. Impressive.

Trip to Kamala Beach was great.....with shelters, massages, drinks, foods at arms length. The water is not too salty, the sand were so fine + there were no jellyfish !!

The resort will arrange transportation - if you need - for food or massages - just let them know where and when to pick you up (after midnight - you may need to grab a taxi back however).

Our 5 family members had a whale of a time .... facilities were great, very peaceful and secured - just like home. My mother-in-law is still talking about the place 3 weeks later.

To: Antonie Polfliet, General Manager - well we broke a wine glass and yes - your staff charged us B100.

Recently spent my last week of a one-month trip to Thailand in August. The off-season prices were attractive. After staying there, I would gladly pay more. It is out of the way, but in a charming and practical way. One needs a car to really enjoy this place, but every detour and lost road I took throughout the country was gorgeous so a car is a must to really see Thailand. The privacy and sound of the infinity pool immediately put you in a state of relaxation and peace. The breakfast is plentiful and the staff is among the best I have seen. I bought the ingredients for orange duck one day but forgot that our kitchen didn`t have an oven. The house chef cooked it for me. This place ensures a luxurious and restful stay. Not for the party-goers. Patong is better suited for that. I will definately return. But maybe get some ovens when you next update :)

Room tip: Every villa is great. Parking could be an issue if the resort is full.

Dear Frizep

On behalf of our team we would like to thank you for the wonderful review that you have posted on our TripAdvisor site.
I have to agree with you that the resort is out of the way however it has been purposely located ‘away from the crowd’ in order to provide our guests a memorable and truly intimate experience. Moreover, your comments about how great breakfast and the staff were kindly passed to our team and they truly appreciate when such kind words are shared with them.
Evaluating your comments about the installation of an oven, allow me to tell you that your observation has been already passed to our owners for possible future improvements in our villa offerings.
We certainly hope that we have the chance to welcome back in the near future and to offer you once again the memorable service that our resort is known for.

We hope to hear from you,
Warm Regards

We stayed in a 3 bedroom pool villa with our young son and another couple and had a great experience. The villa itself was beautiful, very like the style of private villas you get in Bali. It was great for our toddler to have some private space to run around in. The service was good (although there were a few language issues, as you'd expect) and so was the food. It is a pity they are not located on the beach but we hired a car for our five day stay and it was a short ride to Surin and Laem Singh beach which we thought were beautiful. I would certainly recommend this resort unless you want to be right on the beachfront. I would also recommend hiring a car as the shuttles to the beach did not run frequently enough for us.

Dear GCGraham

First of all I would like to thank you for your review and we are delighted to hear that you had a great experience while staying with us.
In regards to the location, I have to agree with you that if you are looking for a beachfront view our resort would not be able to fulfill those expectations. On the other hand, we are proud to offer an intimate and private experience that very few hotels are able to replicate in Phuket.
In regards to your shuttle comment, currently we are providing 5 free daily service shuttles to Kamala Beach and 2 free daily services to Patong Beach that are found to be extremely accommodating by our guests.
Once again, we thank you for your positive and constructive review and should you decide to come back to us in the near future please do not hesitate to contact us.

Best regards from sunny Phuket

This was our first trip to Thailand and the best decision we made was to stay at The Bell! We stayed here for 8 nights and really took advantage of the room service! The service was amazing and flawless! The food was absolutely divine and the villa itself was huge, private and exactly what we wanted & needed!
It was quiet, away from the main tourist hot spots, it's really private and it felt like there was no one around you. The villa was really clean both inside and out, the pool is absolutely huge and had an infinity edge. The sala was nice to lay back and relax and we used the outdoor shower every day, perfect!
We loved the room service, they made a couple of mistakes with our food but they were happy to replace it really quickly and even gave us the lunch for free. The daily shuttle bus to Kamala and Patong was really useful and they gave us our own mobile phone incase we needed our 24 hour butler for absolutely anything. That came in handy a few times!
Although some things are quite expensive in this resort, the service with a smile and perfection makes it all worth while.
We can't recommend this place highly enough, if you are looking for a large private pool villa with impeccable 5 star service, this is definitely the place to go! Can't wait to go back one day!

Dear MadiB

Thank you for sharing your amazing review and for your wonderful comments.

It certainly does not surprise us that you, like many of our previous guests, would look forward to return once again to us.
Your comments about the flawless service, the divine food and the size of the villa are certainly quite illustrative of some of the many features that our resort has to offer to our guests.
On the other hand, we also understand that no hotel is ever perfect however we are happy to read that we were able to rectify immediately some of the mistakes made in the food ordering process.

We thank you once again for sharing your comments and we certainly hope to welcome you back soon.

In the meantime if you have any questions or queries before your arrival please do not hesitate to contact us,

Warm wishes,
