The Bell is exactly what you are looking for when you book - a 4 star, quiet, luxury pool villa. In places like Phuket, where tourism is booming and you run a risk of booking next to a landfill or an all night club, this is a huge plus.
Overall, I highly recommend the Bell if you are looking for a relaxing holiday away, in your own space with your own pool, and you don't have a jam packed active itinerary. We loved our time there, 5 friends in a 3 bedroom villa (one couple) and the layout was great.
Pros - the breakfasts (included) are fantastic, huge and are served in your villa, which we loved as you don't have to roll down to the restaurant in the morning. The hotel itself is modern and super stylish, in a Chinese/Thai theme which looks great. The villas are beautiful and though small, well laid out and super comfortable. Lots of fluffy towels, bathrobes, incense burners - little things that are great when you are on holiday.
Cons - are small, but I would say that the service, though very friendly, could be improved on by better English skills. Almost every order we placed we had to repeat or was misunderstood. No big deal at all when rectified with a smile and an apology - but something to work on. Second point - the shuttles to the beach are limited, so...The Bell is exactly what you are looking for when you book - a 4 star, quiet, luxury pool villa. Second point - the shuttles to the beach are limited, so bear in mind you might want to hire a scooter (cheap and great fun), or even a driver during your stay. One last tiny thing - more water in the rooms please (as the tap water in Phuket is not potable).
All in all a great trip and I definitely recommend The Bell!More
