location is great , stayed in 1 bedroom unit ,market every wed and sat right behind you, fanta sea close walk for 20 min. owner and staff treat you as a friend not a number, help you book , tours, tuk tuks and good advice. stayed here for 2 weeks started off as 1 but price was good. Now there is construction going on but during day , only thing is the muslim prayer every morning but the whole town hears it. very clean love the staff , restaurant on site if need . short walk to beach. first thing you think is too far from beach, but just try it for a day loved the walk for exercise 10 min and you get to see the shops depending which way you walk. wewould definitely go back very personable also speak english and french thai ,may even be other lang.

Room Tip: ask for bottom floor walk out to the pools, and garden, sit on your deck on all floors very trqnquille in the evening, buy your beer at c store down the road cheap. wine and spirits very expensive buy duty free before come in 900 % mark up beer cheap 42 baht large bottle at 7 11 and c grocery store

Really enjoyed staying at this apartment. The staff is great, very helpful and caring. The rooms are spacious, we heard the road but for us it wasn't a problem. It was very comfortable that any time we could get tasty food at our room. After coming from the ocean or in the evening we enjoyed staying at the pool. It's a great place to stay with family or for a group of people. but if you want to have party all the time it's better to find something on another beach.

One of the best places we have ever stayed in Thailand (we have been working/travelling here for 12months!!) The rooms are very spacous and bathrooms perfectly maintained and cleaned - so they still look brand new! Everything in the rooms were very comfortable and air conditioning worked excellently. The management team and staff were so helpful and friendly, you feel at home. They organised our car hire and taxi to the airport and gave us great tips on where to go on Phuket island - we can't thankyou enough! The hotel is a short stroll from the beach and lovely restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and my parents who travelled with us loved the hotel, pool and gardens. We had a delicious meal in the hotel one night and we enjoyed the same excellent standard for breakfast. We will be back there again very soon! Many thanks to Phil, Henri and the team.

We have just returned from a two week break in Phuket and we bring back very fond memories of The Royal Embassy Resort and Spa. This is one of the prettiest resorts that we have had the privilege to stay at. After travelling for over 24 hours from England we arrived exhausted. We were met and greeted in fine style by Henry and were soon introduced to Phil, the owner. We were shown to our accommodation which was a beautiful stand alone bungalow in lovely grounds with a swimming pool virtually outside our door. The grounds were kept immaculate and were subtly lit up at night. It was so relaxing. This complex was like an oasis tucked away from the general humdrum of the area. Fantastic. The restaurant was reasonably priced and the food was excellent. (They do a great tenderloin steak) which was my personal favourite, but it must be said that there was a very wide choice of menu. You are spoilt for choice. The chef really knows his stuff. We soon got to know the staff really well, who made us feel so welcome that it was like finding a bunch of new friends. Our bungalow was kept immaculately clean. Tea, coffee and cold drinks were kept well stocked. We loved our stay and were sad to leave. Well done and thank you to Phil and his staff. We sincerely hope that this review helps in some small way. Anyone reading this review with the intent of going to Phuket should definitely try this hotel complex first. Lordreg.

Room Tip: The whole complex is nice, but we did enjoy the bungalow because it is detached

Just finished a night stay at the Royal Embassy and rate it as one of the best places I've stayed.

Having just come from a disaster night further down the road, we booked this on expedia and arrived at the hotel about 45 mins later. Upon arrival, Henri the general/house manager already knew who we were and the room was already ready. Also gave us the tour etc and was really super friendly - what a great start!

Rooms were fantastic - we had a one bedroom apartment (c-6) and it was fantastic. Very clean, good layout and well kept. Only downside was no LCD TV but I hadnt come to Phuket for TV so the 2 old ones were fine. The only other thing of which is not a resort issue, is the loud prayers coming from the mosque early in the morning which can be somewhat of an unwanted wake up call (depending on how deep you sleep)

Pools are excellent - due to the size of the resort (20 rooms) they were never overcrowded and always meticulously clean etc. Sunbeds available and never all being used which was great.

Food in the restaurant was excellent and price barely anything more than what you pay following a 15 minute walk towards the beachside eateries. Can recommend the squid with chilli paste which was the culinary highlight of my holiday. Great selection of thai and western items.

The friendly nature of owners Phil and Aree was sensational. Nothing was ever too much trouble, conversation was always forthcoming and the service was always with a smile. It is also clear that Phil is willing to take the time to properly train his staff in regards to service and ensures that the little things are done (even down to making sure utensils are dried properly).

The service we received and the quality of the resort lifted our holiday to a whole new level. Phil and Aree should be comended for a resort of such high quality. We will definitely be back next time we are in Phuket
