was there in october 2018. this review is in terms of customer service only. terrible customer service. i needed a rebooking but was bounced around to various people and in the end did not achieve anything. the location of this property is quiet on weekdays but not so on weekends. requested a high floor room but did not get it. customer service could not understand english well. it is a relatively new building. however i would not choose this place again due to extremely poor customer service. did not try the food.

Stayed 3 nights in Jan 2019. Location is good and convenient. It is just right opposite the Miyahara ice-cream cafe. The staff are friendly and kind, and their service is good. Room is clean, but is a bit small, not much place for luggage.

We stayed here for 2 nights in Dec 2018. We took the TRA from Taipei to Taichung and the hotel is about 10 min walk from Taichung station so it’s pretty easy. You can easily recognize the hotel from the white and green exterior facade. There’s a small canal right in front of the hotel which is quite nice and Miyahara ice cream is right across the road. Room size is pretty standard for Taiwan but the bathroom is a bit small. The shower and toilet is so close that it’s impossible to keep the toilet area dry during shower as there is no shower curtain. The basin for washing hands and brushing teeth is outside the toilet near the room door instead. Other than that, the room is pretty clean and well maintained. Toiletries, hairdryer and mini fridge are available. The hotel also provides a daily coupon where u can exchange for a ‘gua bao’ from the shop downstairs. If you are sick of the ‘gua bao’, you are request to change to voucher for Macs or KFC instead but I thought the ‘gua bao’ was really yummy. There is a coffee machine at the hotel lobby where u can help yourself to coffee and water. There is also a washer and dryer on the top floor where u can wash your clothes (washing powder provided). Overall I’m quite pleased with my stay at this hotel.
