Wow! If you need a place to get away from everything this is the place to go.
Fantastic service and nothing at all was a problem for Heather and family (thank you).
The Yurts have their own field so not interrupted much, beds were comfortable and inside was very well laid out.
Next to the Yurts there is a gazebo with a camping stove (two burners) and everything you need to cook with.
The shower and toilet are in a converted shed which is well laid out also and great for a decent shower.
All you can hear during the mornings and evenings are bird songs and the wildlife.
There’s so much more that I have missed but I cannot praise this site enough.
We will definitely be going back and staying again, thank you again so much!!
Have just come back from an absolutely delightful long weekend here.
John and Heather were welcoming and had thought of all the little touches that ensured a most relaxing break from the moment we got there.
The yurt itself was magical, with sparkly lights and a log burner to keep you cosy at night.
The outside space is thoughtfully set up to help you make the most of the traditional delights of camping, without all the hard work. There’s a well appointed kitchen, as well as barbecue and fire bowl all ready to go. We toasted marshmallows over the fire bowl late into the night.
The shower room is lovely and supplied with plastic free handmade soap and shampoo as well as fluffy towels.
The bed is one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in and the sheets were of a lovely quality, with a feather mattress topper and truly great pillows.
The farm is tucked away in perhaps the prettiest corner of England, and approached through narrow lanes. The hedges and verges were bursting with colour and the views round every corner were breathtaking.
On arrival there was a welcome pack of thoughtful local produce to ensure your holiday starts the minute you arrive.
We spent our time relaxing in the hammock, doing water colours on the delightful deck and star spotting under the dark skies.
When we ventured out, we took our hosts advice and spent some time at The Donkey Sanctuary some ten minutes away, before heading on the last few minutes to Sidmouth where we ate and shopped after a dip in the sea.
The area is absolutely astounding, so much so that we came across a photo shoot for a glossy magazine on our travels.
I can honestly say this was one of our most enjoyable breaks we have ever had.
The yurt itself, the situation and the local area have all the constituents of a perfect break away.
