We had a fantastic time at CrookNeck Retreat! Was very relaxing and the atmosphere was just wonderful. The hosts were so helpful and cared for our every need. We will definitely be coming back as we loved it so much! So romantic and a great escape from the hustle of Brisbane.
Would recommend to ANYONE wanting either a romantic getaway or just a relaxing weekend away.

Room Tip: If you buy the package with breakfast included don't bother packing anything else thinking you...

My wife & I recently spent an Easter weekend at Crookneck. Nestled among the macadamia trees, the cabins are clean and very well appointed - good kitchen facilities, a barbecue on the deck, comfy bed with plush pillows and a pull-out lounge, and a huge bath. Wine & local cheese on arrival were a lovely touch. Brett and Megan were just incredibly friendly, relaxed, and welcoming. It's well situated too, a short drive to each of the spectacular Glasshouse Mountains, with great walks & views all around.

My partner and I shared a wondeful weekend at Crookneck retreat recently. The cabins were gorgeous, with the full open plan layout, the double spa and modern facilities (cooktop, fridge, flat screen tv and surround system for dvds) the wood fireplace woulld be great in winter too. it was just such a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The location was fantastic too, only 10 mins to some very fine dining in Beerwah and 40 minutes from Maroochydoore shopping, we had a blast of a time. The staff were fantastic, they made you feel like part of the family as soon as we arrived...

The only reccomedation we can make is that there were no curtains on our sliding doors, although the heavily tinted windows didnt allow you to see in very well plus the fact that no one was around but we prefer curtains...

I would definately recommend staying here and we are looking to book again for a weekend away in winter..

Room Tip: The cabins are all about 150m away from eachother so there is no chance of running into other people...

My wife and I stayed at crookneck as part of our honeymoon. I actually booked it because of its proximity to the Australia Zoo. However, it turned out to be one of our favorite parts of our honeymoon. The cabins are beautiful, modern and clean. The view of Mt. Crookneck is breathtaking and the macadamia orchard that the cabins are situated is picturesque. Our host Brett took us on a tour of the area, which highlighted our interest in nature. He was a delightful, very knowledgeable guide. One of our favorite memories of our trip was being led up Mt Ngungun by Brett, where he presented us with a "brekkie" of Tim-Tams and Milo. I would highly recommend that anyone visiting the sunshine coast visit The Crookneck Retreat.

We have just had two nights there. The single room cabins, with big bed and spa bath at one end, and small kitchen and enclosed log fire at the other are simple and clean.
I loved climbing the various mountains during the day. Great for a couple who want to be alone and enjoy each other's company.
Last comment in the visitor's book in my cabin was "great - it rained all the time we were here (2 days). There was then drawing of a little heart!
I would highly recommend it.

Great accommodation! Our cabin was newly built with quality finishes, flat screen tv and small kitchen. Peaceful location. Spa bath had views over the orchard. Great for a couple getting away from it all. Owners were very friendly and helpful.

A very peaceful and relaxing retreat set amoungst a previous macademia farm (pick and eat all you like). Situated in beautiful country surrounded by mountains and close to the sea (Caloundra), as well as the Australian Zoo (Steve Irwin). My wife claims the full body massage was better than any she has had in Thailand. A great spot for relaxing. Our 2yr 9month old daughter loved the place. The owners - operators were lovely..Look up www.crookneckretreat.
