The cablecar ride itself is quite fun, but they do tend to pack you in like sardines if it is busy. The real best bit is once you get to the top.
We were planning on doing a proper walk at the top, but there was still several feet of snow there (at the end of May)!
If you walk a couple of minutes away from the visitor centre at the top, you will be on your own with magnificent views all around you.
