A brilliant chalet. Great rooms (1 and 2), great food from Steph and Ian (including proper wine and cheese board), great ski guiding by Ian, great tranfsers to and from slopes and airport. Will definitely be back and recommend Reach for the Alps to everybody. Thanks to all the team at RftA we had a great short break.

Room Tip: Rooms one and two were the best.

Just returned from a wonderful 3 night break at Brown Bear Lodge. The service was impeccable with everyone going out of their way to make sure we were having a good time, I haven't felt so relaxed and pampered for a long time. The skiing was great and Ian the ski guide & driver was excellent, the accommodation was very stylish and comfortable and the food was lovely. Would highly recommend and we're already planning a return trip.

Room Tip: Ask for a room upstairs, the rooms in the basement are fine but nowhere near as nice as the top floo...

We have just returned from a 4 day trip from Brown Bear Lodge in Montriond. I have to say the reach for the alps company run by Marcus and Gina is a great company to arrange your ski holiday through. I cant recommend them enough, they tailor for short breaks and week long breaks and take care of everything from the moment you land at geneva airport until you depart. Private transfers, ski hire, ski passes, accommodation food & drink are all available.
Ian the driver and ski guide along with Steff & Ian are key to smooth running of the chalet. they were always at hand to help or answer any questions. The food was great throughout the whole stay and they really made us all feel welcome. By the first evening all the guests felt like they were in a home from home in a very relaxed environment.

Room Tip: the two basement rooms can be a little on the noisy side as they are next to the boot room/playroom...

Our week at the Brown bear lodge was almost too much to take in for us: very good accomodation, awesome food and very friendly staff. Every morning started out with a great breakfast. After a day of great skiing we always found hot coffee and tea with a fresh cake waiting for us. After some relaxation in the hot tub and sauna orginal canapés were offered after which a wonderful four course meal was served. This was probably our best ski experience ever and we will be back for sure. Many thanks!

Just back from a long weekend skiing, we stayed in the Brown Bear Lodge and I have to say it was the first time I opted for a Chalet experience and it didn't disappoint. The staff, Steff and Ian was the hosts with another Ian the ski guide also on hand. They did everything to ensure we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The food & service was excellent, I couldn't find one fault in the staff or accommodation and would recommend it to anyone thinking of taking a break.

In the words of Tina Turner, this is "Simply the best" ski chalet you could wish for. Have booked with Reach4theAlps on 4 previous years but first time staying at Brown Bear Lodge. A group of 8 girls, we found the chalet pure luxury from the comfort and space of the bedrooms/living areas, to the quality of food prepared by Iain & Steph every day, hot tub was a well deserved treat at the end of the day skiing. Initial concerns of chalet location were completely quashed with the in-resort minibus transfers organised by Ian. This couldn't have worked better and we were dropped off/picked up everyday without any fuss. On Ian's day off, this was covered by resort manager Jane. Ian also doubled as the ski guide and we had a fab day out on the Portes du soleil tour. The canapes and champagne before dinner every night were lovely as were the cakes for afternoon tea, yummy! Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a fab week, we will be back!

Room Tip: A couple of our group paid a small supplement to take the triple rooms for two persons only to give...

Returned today from an osais of calm at the Brown Bear Lodge. Steff and Ian were the hosts with Ian the ski guide also on hand.. We had a room (No3) which was upstairs and fulfilled all our needs.. The food was fantastic and the service and attention to detail was first class. A truely fine stay.

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms if available
