peaceful hotel in Seminyak area.

stayed here 2 nights with 4 rooms with mu family. a very nice room. we booked all with Paddies room view, it was fantastic room, clean, cold aircon, nice bed and very nice breakfast. Hotel location was perfect, near to go to the shop and restaurant. u can also request to rent a (very good condition) motorbike from the hotel.
only one thing, the staff was not so friendly tho.

Uncomfortable Stay

The staff were helpful, friendly and respectful and the morning buffet was great but that's where it ceased. On entering the hotel all lounges were marked and dirty, at night the hotel is stuck in between 2 nighclubs/pubs so 'thumping' went on until 3am. One morning we had a slip of paper under the door apologising as one hotel would be noisy until 5am! The beds felt they were full of rocks, there was no hot water in the shower, the air conditioning didn't work so they kept it on low 24/7 & wouldn't move us to another room, we got headaches because of it, the Spa-massage was horrendous and we felt dizzy/sick afterwards, laundry was supposed to be returned at 6pm but didn't come back until 10pm & we were leaving the next day. The room was tiny and felt like we were on a slight angle. The pool was clean and comfortable temperature but that was it. The bar downstairs was really loud and even though we were on the 6th (top) floor could hear it resonating. We had to constantly ask for fresh towels for a shower but it would take ages for them to arrive. I was also unaware how close we were to Kerobokan Jail. Would definitely stay at the further end of Seminyak away from Kerobokan next time. I wouldn't visit again.

Room tip: Stay as far away from the front of the hotel if you want a quiet room.

Recommended Hotel at Petitenget

First i stay at this hotel with my little family,nice location and very friendly staff. Check in late around 8PM and very quick to the room, had order margarita pizza at night and very taste.Room is big with rice-field view from balcony and there provide little chair for relax at balcony ,one thing for HK team to improve there is stain sheet i found when stay there. Overall our stay is excellent and thank you for upgrade during my stay and really recommended Hotel.

Simple love the paddy's field view! Awesome!!! ;)

Swissbel's location is on pettitenget street where you can find many many chic cafes and upper class restaurant with a unique view like paddy's field, sun flower field, etc. What I love the most from this hotel is the paddy's field view specially during morning breakfast time, the view just simply awesome and relaxing and breakfast with paddy's field view is amazing!!!
I can sit the whole day just to see the view ;)
Room is comfortable and clean and value for money.

If you looking for hotel's location near the stretch of Jalan Kayu Aya where you can find shopping mall like seminyak square, boutiques, bars, cafes such as sisterfields, revolver coffee, etc, or famous restaurant like Ultimo, The Bali Cafe, Batik, etc, then you should NOT consider this hotel because it quite a distance to reach there, 15 minutes at least by motorcycle or even more if you driving or taking cab as traffic is quite bad near Jalan Raya Kerobokan or Jalan Kayu Aya or sometimes at Jalan Sunset Road.
It will be more convenience to rent motorcycle to go around if staying in hotel at Petitengget area including Swissbel Hotel.

Anyway, all is good ;) and we both has amazing time here in Bali ;)
Love you Bali more and more, definitely come back for another trip!!

Room tip: Room with paddys' field view if you willing to top up a little bit more

My visit to Bali

The hotel is nice with good access to swimming pool and restaurants both in and outside the hotel. The road traffic is very busy generally but the staff are very humble and makes all efforts to please the guest.
It is a bit far from the airport. I had a personal hires taxi to look around the place which was very helpful
It is interesting and different from my usual esteem life
