Had a half hour of body scrub (526k don per hour) & an hour of deep tissue massage (455k don per hour).
Best massage so far we had in Vietnam. It seemed like the masseuse understands body structure well. Beach in front of bungalow allowed us to have all that fresh breez and relaxing sound. Not so fancy but worth to try.
Went to the restaurant and told the lady we wanted foot treatment she said to go the next day at 5pm,so we got a taxi there as it was to hot to walk the distance when we got there she said she did not have the staff to do this and she would do a facial or massage instead, which we didn't want as we had put our make up and after sun on. So it was a complete waste of time and money would not recommend.
We went to the newer Forester Spa of the two on the strip - it looks grander than the other one from the outside (but I haven't been to the other one so can't compare). It's a fantastic location - we went at nighttime and the gardens are lit up beautifully. Very magical.
We just tried out the 30 min back massage, which was the cheapest thing on the list. Considering they use all natural products etc and comparing against the price of a foot massage or a facial, we thought it was really good value (about £10 each).
The massage was of really good quality and it was in a little hut in the gardens. I loved it!
The massage therapists were really sweet and polite - the guy at reception was less warm. We had to wait for our massages so it would have been nice to have been offered tea, like in most other spas.
Would recommend as a treat for the atmosphere alone!
Came in for a massage with my boyfriend and was expecting an amazing time given the price of the treatments are 2x to 3x more expensive than all other places. However, ended up completely disappointed and actually wishing for the treatment to end before time was up. Now to provide some background, I'm a bit of a lush when it comes to massages and spa treatments, usually go for a massage at least twice a month. I've had my fair share of good and bad, and have gone to both high-end and cheap spots, but this spot doesn't even compare to some of the less expensive spas.
I paid for a couples relaxation spa package which included:
Purity facial (60 minutes)
Relaxation massage (60 minutes)
Spa refreshments (15 minutes)
It started out with the relaxation massage, which in my opinion was weak and basic. My masseuse seemed to repeat the same simple moves over and over again in a high speed motion (not what you expect in a RELAXING massage). Honestly, I came out feeling like I had not been massaged properly and I didn't feel relaxed at all. In fairness my boyfriend liked his massage so it could have just been my masseuse.
Then came the facial, where my masseuse seemed to find all her strength and take it out on my face. Yeah, needless to say I was counting the minutes until it was done. My boyfriend was not a fan of this one either.
Spa refreshments - ha this is a joke! Not even sure why they put this as part of the package. We came out of our treatments expecting some sort of perhaps fruit, snacks, and drinks (as other spas do) and the lady handed me the bill instead. I asked about our "spa refreshments" and she actually laughed and said that it's just a cup of tea and if I really wanted it that she could provide it. Excellent customer service...
Overall it doesn't seem that all the staff has been trained properly, and there seems to be a lack of customer service overall. Only good thing is that we didn't pay full price for the package and we received a 10% discount, but even then this spa package was on the pricey end.
VERDICT: Skip
I went there on a rainy day and I spent best 2 hours in SPA I had in Vietnam. Prices are on high end but worth it. You are welcomed with a coffee or tea, you choose the treatment, you are taken to a nice bungalow. The sound of the waves is so relaxing! Very clean and well run place. Highly recommended. I had deep tissue massage and mud face treatment.
Both were great!
This SPA was not suggested specificly by our tour guide, but we tried and received a non-conveyer type attitude. Thank You;)
