Beautifully restored old building, spacious, well-equipped rooms, very comfortable beds, great breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, very nice common room and garden. We really enjoyed our stay, Baron's House felt like a home from home.

Stayed there for three nights in June 2011. Perfect service, cleanless, breakfast, rooms and linens are high quality. Only few minuses, first: maybe only in rooms in which we stayed, wall which devided room with bathroom was only half way to ceiling. That's mean if somebody is in the toilet, the other must leave the room and open all windows. Second: difficult to find, even with GPS

My wife and I spent 5 wonderful days at this B&B while touring Belgium and visiting old friends. The owner and staff were very accommodating from the minute we checked in. We arrived on an early morning flight and asked if we could check in early and they cleaned a room quickly as they saw we were tired. This was an ideal location for us as we were close to the motorways and key cities like Leuven, Brussels, and Antwerp. We like that we were in the middle of a Nature Preserve and to see the deer farm outside our window every morning was special! Our room was perfect and the morning breakfast was satisfying--they even prepared omelets and fresh bacon on request. The free WIFI worked perfectly and we were able to skype pictures of the deer outside our window back to our granddaughter in the U.S. Since we had a car they provided us with a special remote gate key to enter the main entrance to the B&B. We were also given complimentary "aperitif" drink coupons to their affiliated restaurant "Baron's Brasserie" just a few minutes walk away. We ate there and enjoyed their daily "prix fixe" menu which was delicious and a great value. When we departed we mentioned we would be returning in two weeks after the rest of our trip for an overnight stay prior to our flight back to the U.S. and they told us to keep the remote gate key as would be coming in late a night. A very nice touch! Overall, a great stay accentuated by great hosts providing great service!

Room Tip: There are 8 rooms total and we stayed both times in the two rooms closes to the breakfast area. Bot...

we had upgrded from cosy to charming room in spite of discount of weekend price on cosy. When we arrived we were told we were upgraded to superior room that turned out to have leaking toilet that made the room smell like a cat litter box. Marc, owner/manager?, spent 15 minutes on computer and explained that he didn't have a room since guests were spending weekend in Paris and he had to save room for him. He put us in room off the breakfast area. He confrimed that it was a charming room and quiet since there were two doors.

We were awoken the next morning to children in the breakfast room. You could hear clanking of china, etc in breakfast area,

I checked the website for room descriptions. the charming room was to have a seating area. I asked the stafff at check out and she confirmed our room was cosy. The drain in the combination shower/bath was clogged and she said other guests had mentioned the problem.

Beware that you may not get room you reserve, you may be charged for more than than you reserve and management is not consciencous about maintenance.

The staff was plesant and helpful. I ended up paying for a cosy room.

In addition, it's difficult to find - no signage on main road. We won't return.

Room Tip: Don't reserve cosy room if you are a light sleeper. Do not pay in advance as you might get upgr...

We stayed one night in this (as it seems) recently renovated B&B and really liked it. It is situated in a coach house outside Leuven/Brussels. We stayed in the attached building and had a maisonette room (sleeping downstairs) with the use of the enormous "living room" with tv/kitchen that was accessible for all rooms in that part of the building. A bit strange but very handy whilst traveling with two small children (e.g. use of microwave). The room was perfect and had everything we needed; all in a pleasant modern style with high end equipment. We had dinner in the restaurant (brasserie) that forms part of the B&B concept situated just a 5 minute stroll away: a welcome drink of our choice was offered since we stayed in the B&B. Our baby phone was out of reach but the brasserie was well equipped to entertain kids (color pencils) and even had baby change facility and not the forget very good food and wines at very moderate prices. Breakfast was cosy served in the main kitchen of the B&B and was very good with a good variety of things and eggs prepared as you wish. The combined deal was perfect for us: a day in the city and the evening/night in the middle of the nature in a nice place with great service.Very friendly service from the owners even when we had left the B&B and forgot something to pack: they send it back home to us. We would definitely return here and I would prefer this B&B over the Martin's hotel in Leuven city center that we stayed in earlier.

This B&B is in a beautiful location and has the most friendly and helpful staff I have met. The rooms are modern and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. The continental style breakfast was very good and there was freshly made coffee available at all times.

In a beautiful part of the Belgium country-side, Baron's House is a very peaceful, calm place. It is tucked away behind secured gates with plenty of parking.
The staff are wonderful.
I couldn't fault the room- it very very well-designed, warm, had a lovely view, comfortable bed, bathrobes. Delicious breakfast.
Very highly recommended.

Room Tip: From what we saw the rooms on the 2nd, 3rd floors have far better views and privacy than the ground...
