This is an excellent, independent, bistro type, restaurant. The husband runs the front of house very effectively, attentively (without over doing it) and very friendly. The waitresses were all young, but very good. The wife was chefing and producing some excellent results. There were four adults in our party and had pre-booked. I had white bait starter and main of lamb shank in damson and red wine sauce with mash potato. It was excellent and very good value. You felt looked after and valued. The ambiance was good, decor tastefully in keeping with the building. It was also busy (Saturday evening). A cracking good restaurant, visit it and enjoy!
