Because we would be the size of a house. We were on a long weekend break and visited here on the 8th. The welcome was warm and all the staff friendly without 'being in your face.' The food was outstanding, well cooked and presented beautifully, and not bad prices either for the quality of the food. We had starts of goats cheese/apple jelly and a pate, then hubby had steak and I had a ratatouille crumble, all served with new potatoes and veg. we followed that with treacle tart for hubby and an absolutely gorgeous triple chocolate mousse for me, a couple of drinks all came to just over £66.
It's a must eat place .
