We stayed for 3 nights in July '12. It is a very beautiful location atop the falaise, a short walk down
to the rocky shore.....a very quiet, relaxing spot. We were put in a room on the second level of
the outer building overlooking the hottub and the side of the hotel with some unkept bushes on the side.....not a great view. Possibly because the room was booked by my husband's company, as this was officially a business trip, we were put in a room which was clearly decorated for a male customer. Not decorative at all and lacking a warm inviting feeling. We noticed that the room right next to us, which was vacant the
entire time we were there, was aesthetically and artistically appointed with a fun, inviting feeling.
We had wonderful breakfasts in the restaurant and a couple of dinners, as well, which we enjoyed very much, apart from being totally ignored after one particular dinner. We were never asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. I think it would be really helpful if they hired some staff who had a good grasp of the English language. The waiter who was their "go-to guy" to speak English was not anywhere near fluent. Although I have a good grasp of the French language, I struggled communicating confidently in French with the staff here, as there was no help on their part. It seems not one person spoke English. Additionally, I do not know who their Interior Designer is, but they don't have the slightest idea about what makes patio furniture comfortable. Yes, it's very contemporary and artsy looking but it is not comfortable by any means. It should be. When I was there they replaced the seats next to the hottub with these funky cone-shaped resin seats. Very chic and very impractical and uncomfortable. The hottub was a plus and we enjoyed the sauna which was located in our room. All-in-all, I don't think this resort is worth the price.

This was a present from my husband for my birthday. Very nice welcome. We had a room up the hill with a fantastic view on the falaise and the sea. Free bottles of water, coffee and tea facilities. The room was nice and very modern: white, with red and black. The bathroom had a bathtub with changing led lights in it (and with a broken water tap). The entrance of the room was not so clean: damages on the wall and the paint was full of stripes (in all sorts of colours). We made a very nice walk in the surroundings: on the beach admiring the falaise, in the woods, on the small paths.
We reserved a table in the restaurant. We were one of the first to arrive, so we nearly had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Feels a bit cold and is not that warm. My husband choose the meat menu and I the fish menu. With the first dish I was a bit surprised: I got fishsticks with tartar sauce and some dry salad leaves. My husband ate foie gras. He loved it. I was not that thrilled with my dish. Afterwards he had a steak Rossini (again with foie gras) and I had cod with mushroom risotto. I first tasted my risotto and cod, but everything was flavourless. So I seasoned it with pepper and salt, but it was not use, because even with the seasoning, there was no taste. So, for me, bad experience with the restaurant. When it is crowded, you can hardly understand eachother. We fled out of the restaurant.
The price of the room (210 euro) was a bit too much and there was no breakfast included.
It was nice for once.

A warm welcome to this boutique hotel/restaurant was not matched by the poor food and staff in the restaurant. The rooms were very well presented with modern art pieces decorating the bedrooms, the bed was very comfortable, tea & coffee making facilities in the room were very welcome. The views from the terrace overlooking the English Channel & the sunset on the only evening that we stayed at Le Cise helped to take our mind off the awful service & meal. The food at this restaurant was very expensive and not worth the money charged, we stayed at the hotel for two nights had one evening meal,we did not bother with the breakfast following our experience with the evening meal. The advertised Wi-fi was flakey at best.
A good hotel let down by it's food and waiting staff.
