We had an amazing time! The hosts were fantastic and we barely had to think about anything! They had some great hiking trails nearby, and it truly is one of the most beautiful medieval villages in the region. The yoga is a long, slow meditative hatha practice and very good if you need some time to think (or not think), but it is not a flow or athletic practice which i am used to, but i didn't realize how badly i needed to slow down and try this style :) anyway, the food is fantastic, local, and healthy, and you will love your time here!

Room Tip: the rooms with balconies have the best view, definitely small but well designed and comfortable

Thank you Cindy for your very nice review, especially about the yoga sessions, I am so glad it suit you despite the fact that you had been practising for such a long time in a different way ^^ thank you also for the beautifull pictures...and for the music you played for us with Maddie ;)
take care, and keep up with the practise :) !

St Jeannet is a really lovely peaceful village close to but separated from the craziness of Nice, Monaco,, and the coast. The Frogs' House is a comfortable, inclusive, and friendly B and B with plenty of activities - hiking, yoga, sightseeing, wine tasting, cooking etc - for those who choose to participate, but there is no pressure. Charming hosts and highly recommended.

I booked a last minute yoga retreat at Frog's House and it was a lovely experience. It is a place where you can truly relax, focus on yourself and at the same time enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery and wonderful food. Benoit is an excellent yoga teacher, both the community hall and the hill top are great locations for yoga sessions. Corinne prepares the most delicious breakfast and the cooking class was really fun. Thank you both!

This is the third time we've stayed at The Frog's House and we keep coming back because it's so wonderful for so many reasons.... You simply cannot fault the location. Saint Jeannet is the most gorgeous hilltop village with such charm and charisma but without the hordes of tourists so many of the other towns in the region suffer from. This authentic and relaxed atmosphere of Saint Jeannet (but with million-dollar views) translates to The Frog's House which is owned and run by the delightful Benoit and Corinne. They have created a lovely B&B that offers not only a "home away from home" feeling but a number of optional activities including guided tours, hikes and yoga with Benoit and cooking classes with Corinne. In fact, as a global traveler, I can honestly say, Corinne's breakfasts are one of the best you'll get - with her homemade jams and yoghurts accompanying fresh pâtisseries, bread, eggs and cheeses each morning (all organic and locally sourced). If you are looking for a hidden gem then The Frog's House is a wonderful find!

thank you thank you thank you ! always people ask me if we still realise how much saint jeannet is such a piece of heaven...as a matter of fact I feel I am even more conscious of it every day...thank you for bringing life into it, all our visitors bring their own contribution, warmth and joy, both into the village and into the FrogS'House...I am sure Corinne will agree with that...but I may not show her this review as her Ego will get bigger ^^
thanks again, see you next time...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were pleasantly surprised at how much there is to see and do within such close proximity to St Jeannet. Gorgeous hosts, great food, fantastic locally produced wine and so much more! For a small, unassuming village it has some amazing food and local produce. We easily explored Nice, Monaco and surrounds from St Jeannet as our base, and with C and B's advice discovered other wonders not listed in any travel guide. We hope to return one day (without 2 kids under 4!) and explore all that we missed!

Thank you Renae, this is such a great, (and for me so true ;) ), description of Saint Jeannet :) we are very happy that you enjoyed your stay at The FrogS'House, and yes hopefully you can come back when the boys are a little older, which will probably make your trip a little easier ;) ! you have a lovely little family by the way, so enthusiastic and positive, it was a real pleasure to have you in the house, thank you for the great energy :)
wamest regards from the both of us,
Benoit et Corinne
