Spent a hot october week on Cyprus and Anastasia. The stuff in the reception were not very helpful or efficient when we arrived late in the evening. They vere not very intrested or competent on answering on any questions, neither of the hotel or the surroundings. The service personnel in the restaurants and bars on the other hand were very helpful. Specially as we had a allinclusive package we experienced the service as good. The hotel-apartment room was very sparse furnished with oldish furniture.
Kids enjoyed the pools, but the little sandy beach next to the hotel was not too good. A twenty minute walk along the boardwalk will take you to the large beach in Fig Tree Bay. Protaras is a quiet hotelarea with enough restaurants an bars for a family ;-) Overall good value for a cheap all inclusive stay.

Myself (38) children (5&6) and parents booked our holiday a little blind via the internet and we choose the Anastasia Beach Hotel. What a fantastic holiday we had. We stayed all inclusive for 2 weeks in August. I asked for rooms next door to each other which we got within the main hotel which were lovely, rooms were cleaned daily with clean sheets and towels.

The food was very good, only small complaint would be the choice in the childrens corner menu that never really changed for the 2 weeks we were there, but the kids eat from the snack menu and had a very wide choice to chose from. I was amazed by the selection of food and drinks that were served from 10am till gone midnight!! The cocktail meun was unbelievable around a choice of 20+, including Balieys!! mmmmmmm

Hotel staff were very very friendly and helpful. Entertainment staff AMAZING, we loved them always included the kids in all they done..... Thanks guys.

Very much a family hotel with lots of familes, which was perfect as my children and me met some wonderful friends around the pool it became a very close nit place to be, the entertainment staff were so brilliant with lots of activities throughout the day for the kids and the grown ups to enjoy.

Towels for around the pool you could get clean ones daily from the gym.

Air con in the rooms was fab sometimes even a little cold!!!! Hairdryers are available in the rooms but were not that powerful.

All in all 2 weeks in a great hotel good food and met some really lovely friends. Would def reccomend this hotel to friends and family, and would like to go back again....

Thank you. The Kennedys. xxx

We have just returned from a 2 week all inclusive holiday with our children aged 11, 7, 2 and 4months. We requested interconnecting rooms which we received thanks to the reservation manager Koulla who was very helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean with good facilities, the maid service was second to none. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Siobhan who always made time for a chat. Our children are all different ages but they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Our two year old absolutely loved the two pools and the amusement machines, our 7 and 11 year olds loved the daily hotel entertainments around the pool and they liked the games area. We strongly recommend the all inclusive package as the food is of good standard and drinks and snacks were available all day long, the only problem I had with the food was the poor choice available for the children for the evening meal. My husband was happy that the hotel had a large screen tv that showed the premier league games with English commentary. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and we can't wait to book up for next year.

Hi

I am a travel agent who has been staying at this hotel at least once sometimes twice a year since the hotel opened. I have recommended to various clients and never once has someone come back disappointed. We are there again in September and there will be around 40 repeat clients there at the same time as ourselves so it speaks for itself. I am getting married in Cyprus next June and staying at this hotel but getting married at the Vrissiana Beach Hotel there will be approximately 25 travelling out there and we have made friends from all over the uk who will all be travelling there together.

Now for the good points where do i begin :-
Fabulous Service - Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff always go above any beyond the call of duty to ensure your stay is a fantastic one.Especially Koulla, Kyriakos, Bambos and Angelos the Head Chef .
Food - Everything you could ask for- breakfasts ( continental, cereals, fresh fruit, fresh waffles, freshly cooked omelette station, full english - everything always hot and cooked perfectly, lunch again what a choice, snacks fabulous range and excellent quality , evening meal again good choices with a different them every evening the carvery night is fantastic. The hotel just gets better each time we visit and it is down to the wonderful management of Kyriakos ( Food and Beverage manager ) Bambos and Angelos the Head Chef
Location - Absolutely perfect just a small bay at the bottom of the hotel grounds with watersports and a gorgeous promenade along the coastline which will take you into the centre of Protaras within 15minutes or you can walk the other way to Pernera Centre in about 5 minutes. The Hotel has plenty of tavernas and shops within the immediate vicininty if you were staying on a bed and breakfast basis but prices are quite expensive but that all due to the euro. Pernera Cove and Main Beach in protaras absoutely fabulous crystal clear waters and clean sands.
Facilties - main Pool area and small toddler pool for those who want something a little more peacful then you can choose to use the pool located at the back of the hotel which is adjacent to the ausonia apartments which are now part of this complex.
Entertainment - Range of quizzes, aqua aerobics, darts, football, boules during the day and then kids disco and entertainment during the evening. To be fair i take or leave the entertainment i quite enjoy going for a nice stroll and then sitting on the outside verandah area. But again there is a choice for everyone.
Decor - yes the decor is becoming slightly dated but i think this again is due to be addressed at teh end of the season. Cleanliness is always fantastic and every morning the cleaners are out brushing and mopping around the pool area nothing is left untoucherd. The main atrium and reception area is fantastic marbled entrance with large vearandahs and plants overhanging it is trully magnificent.
Excursions - If you want to explore easy to hire a car and they drive on the same side as ourselves, also the local bus runs into protaras and ayia napa for 1 euro each way. Taxis are reasonable approximately 7 euros each way to the centre of protaras. Shirley Valentine Cruise - takes in the caves at Cape Greko is a truly relaxing day on the sea for approximately
Downsides - At present the apartments are a slightly lower standard due to them being purchased by the group but again these are in the process of being refurbished and am sure they will get to the same standards as the hotel.

I do think of trying other destinations but obviously beacuse you spend so much money saving for your holidays i stick with what i know because i know that i will have a wonderful relaxed time amongst many friends.

If you want any more information then please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kelly
