It is important to take the time to stay more than the regular 6 hour "rush-around tourist visit" to this amazing site ... even getting up early to start at 9 am, it is foolish to think that One can take in all in one day. We were 2 1/2 days, 2 nights here, and wish We stayed twice as long!
We were so well looked after in this lovely place.
As 2 wheat free vegans, it is rare to find sympathetic cooks! Here, they were a little unfamiliar with this way of eating, but did their utmost to accomodate, and We were all ways well fed ~ breakfast inclusive, & evening meals wholesome & inexpensive. In fact the whole bill could've been double & We would still have been smiling. The rooms a little basic, but warm blankets (& a mobile gas heater were provided when requested), and the shower gave hot water (often a bit hit and miss in Bolivia, even at hotels 3 or 4 times this price.
The manager, Rosario, is the jewel of this place ~ a caring spiritual individual who felt almost like family to say farewell to. Helen, Grace, & i truly look forward to Our next visit.
Wishing many Blessing upon You & Your establishment.More
