The family resort is beautiful and very chic, you can tell that it had only been opened in 2015. The staff is brilliant and very friendly from receptionist to cleaning staff. Also astounding the good mood the entire entertaining staff manages to spread throughout the day! Great job!!!!
Now comes the BUT!!!! The beach is poor and not inviting at all to hang around. It‘s extremely windy and the pebble beach does not invite at all to go for a long walk. I missed this long walks on a sandy beach, so if you love doing that as well, this resort location is not the right one.
On top this hotel is set on the most southern part of the island, so it always takes a long way to go to do excursions. If you just want to stay in the resort, fair enough, but for travelers like me and my family, too far away to explore the island.
We did rent a car though for 2 days but that was quite a mile to go to see the places we wanted to.
By the way, the transfer from the airport to Magic Life is 1,5 hours!!!!!

Good venue. Good facilities. Good selection of food and evening entertainments. All in all a good choice for the family.

Things to note:
Guest holidaymakers are predominantly German. Worth noting if your kids are keen to make holiday friends. It was difficult for our kids to meet other English speaking kids.

Waterslides
Four waterslides. However, you have to be over 120cm at the shoulders to go on all of them except one, so our smallest (6 years old) could only go on one slide.

Kids Clubs
Our kids went once only, but due to most of not all of the kids being German, thus the TUI entertainers speaking mostly in German our kids chose not to go again.

Facilities
Very good.

We used Gym (very good facilities), and plenty of classes per day (3-4), of differing levels.

Coffee house was nice, where you can get coffee and cake.

Mountain bike trips
We did a few times and good fun. Take plenty of water. You’ll need to be relatively fit, as minimum is 1 hour duration, and we rode circa 8-9 miles.

Beach
Stones and pebbles. Not an issue but not as nice as soft sand.

Water sports
Costings were:
Family sofa - 15 Euros per person (75 Euros for our family) 15 minutes
Banana boat - 9 Euros each (15 minutes)
Jet Ski - 40 Euro for 15 minutes

Dive Med
We took a glass bottom trip to a beach, shop wreck and snorkelling. Note that kids over 12 are classified as adults (this really infuriated me). Cost was 20 Euros for kids, 40 Euros for Adults. So we paid 180 Euros. We then were told on the day we had to pay an extra 5 Euros for a mini bus for a two minute journey. That felt a cheap shot. You could choose to walk 10 minutes but in blistering heat not really an option. What was even more annoying was no return journey. Again poor service in my opinion. Trip was okay, but in my opinion not worth the money.

Rooms
Nice, functions.

Don’t leave food or sweet drinks in your room. We did and were invaded by Ants. Twice.

WiFi
Available all around the complex. Okay, but in and out on service, assuming due to volume of people trying to connect.

Restaurants
Main restaurant - good selection of foods daily.
Wonder at - Sandwiches from late morning to late afternoon. Nice and varied selection.
Taverna - need to book. Wine of not house wine chargeable. Recommend this for traditional Greek style food. Good service and meat very good
The Flavours - need to book. Good. This restaurant tries to give you a selection of flavours of food from different parts of the world. Good, but we preferred the Taverna.

Like all reviews, the vital question is would you come again? Our answer is no.

Reasons:

We do not like to visit places twice unless exceptional. Too dominated by Germans which affected kids attending events.
Too hot and not good enough roads to go road running.

All in all a thumbs up from us. I’d give this venue 8/10.

First of all it’s quite a ride about 1:20h from the airport. The location is beautiful close to the beach. The buildings are modern and fitting in the environment. Pending where you staying you have to walk or take an elevator to get the the main pool and restaurant. The taste and quality of the Buffet varies, too sad. There is a coffee house, which is a great idea opens at 10 am but servicing some pastries starting at 11 am, that doesn’t make sense. One bad habit is the occupation of the loungers at the pools or at the beach. Even there is a hotel policy, nobody cares. The room cleaning was so so too, certain areas were not be taking care of sometimes towels were missing and the room fridge was only filled once just when you were arrived, it should be at least once a week.
In overall a nice holiday with a lot of sport opportunities and friendly staff.

Wonderful luxurious resort, clean, great and fantastic facilities , all the employees are very good and happy to serve you. It was our 4th visit at the same hotel. Unfortunately activities were more better before. Now it is a hotel for family with children compared with sport hotel as was a couple years before. Coffee House is amazing!

The hotel is located on a beautiful Island so many places to visit and explore for singles, couples or families. Hotel it’s self it’s amazing! It’s a wonderful resort has everything the heart could desire.
Lovely food. Friendly staff . Amazing kids areas but also silent relax pools for couples. Very nice coffee lounge , yum coffee and deserts for lazy afternoons. Internet rooms, business rooms.. and so so many sport activities it’s just incredible!
Cleanliness is at high standards.
All our enquirers was meet and we really really enjoyed the Greek hospitality, atmosphere and .. of course the food.

Heads up to the General Manager who treats every guest with priority, a great person as well!

The spa is also lovely, we enjoyed the massage and the outside hot tub with a stunning view!

All over super happy and exited can’t wait to visit again!
