What a lovely experience this was! Our host was lovely. The room was well appointed. The view was absolutely spectacular and the afternoon tea on arrival was a really nice touch.

The home-cooked breakfast was really nice. I would recommend this guest house to anyone who likes a personal touch in their accomodation.

I am still smiling two days later.

Stayed for three nights at Storm Bay guesthouse while we were exploring the Tasman Peninsula. Couldn't have enjoyed it more. Great location, high on a hill overlooking incredible views over Storm Bay in one direction and Parson's Bay in the other. Had the Blue room, best bed of the journey so far, private deck and most important, peace and quiet. The guesthouse was full but the way the house is layed out very private and tranquil. The food was exceptional, home made bread and jam, scones and fresh ground coffee on arrival was particularly appreciated. The hosts were very helpful and I would recommend this place to all.

We had a comfortable enough 2 nights stay at Storm Bay Guest House. Our room was clean & uniquely decorated with an assortment of aboriginal artwork & indian inspired throws. The bed was comfy as well. A small bar fridge was provided & tea/coffee facilities. There were a few things that made the accomodation a bit less enjoyable- firstly there was no TV which was a bit strange. We didn't intend to watch a lot of TV, but it's nice to be able to watch a dvd in the evening or the news in the morning. Also attention to detail was lacking a bit ie no face washers were provided & the hand wash was empty & not refilled. There was no blinds in the room either- just curtains which weren't blockout. It was dark enough in the night, but we tended to wake up early in the mornings due to the sunlight lighting up the room. The bathroom was also tiny, with a small shower & the toilet was a bit cramped.

The views out to storm bay were nice & the cooked breakfasts were good with nice coffee. Overall the accomodation is alright, but as it is on the more expensive side, it didn't really have the extras to make us feel like we got good value for money.

Stayed at Storm Bay for my wedding anniversary on a recommendation from a friend. Couldn’t have been happier. I have stayed in many B&B’s, guesthouses as I travel a lot in my work and this has to be near the top of the list. We stayed in the Acacia room which is huge with windows on two sides looking out across Storm Bay and Parsons Bay, magnificent views stretching for miles across the water to the other side of Tasmania! Peaceful fishing boats at anchor, awesome sunset and private deck. And most important quiet and peaceful. Dinner was as good as a top city restaurant. Set three courses candle lit and the best sticky date pudding I have ever eaten plus homemade ice cream. There is also a wood fired brick oven where all the bread and pizzas are cooked. The hosts went out of their way to see that everything was right. I rarely write reviews but Storm bay deserves to be known and if you are going to Southern Tasmania (Port Arthur) this is the place to stay.

This was quite simply the best B&B either of us have stayed in on our many trips to Australia. The property is set on a hill, with views to die for across Storm Bay to Bruny Island. Jill & John, the fabulous hosts, seem to be able to conjure amazing sunsets up to order - and what sunsets! The bedroom was incredibly comfortable, with its own deck and views across the inlet. The home made goodies in the room were a great touch. Breakfast is in the good Scottish tradition - wholesome and hearty to set you up for the day. The evening meals are home cooked by Jill, and are worthy of many a 5 star restaurant in any big city, with fresh local produce, seafood and meats. They have put a great wine cellar together, and a highlight is having "sundowners" on the deck as the sun slips into the ocean, while the aroma of another beautiful meal drifts out from the kitchen. If you visit Tasmania, you must stay at Storm Bay!
