Fattoria San Paolo Agriturismo

Simply the best place we have stayed at on our three months trip through Italy! We especially appreciated the wonderful hosts, the large and beautifully appointed room with a view over the rolling hills of Tuscany and neighboring hill towns, the pizzeria and the central location in Tuscany province and the pool of course!! We stayed for three weeks and could easily have stayed for another few weeks if we would have had the time!

Room Tip: All rooms are beautiful. Quercia and Ginepro on the first floor are so large that they actually shou...

My wife and I stayed here for a week in mid July 2011. We were made to feel very much at home. The pizza restaurant which is open Thursday-Saturday is amazing (tip, ask for the pasta dish of the day - ours was amazing). The pool is really nice - it's great swimming amongst the frogs. Ideally it could have done with air conditioning, it was very hot the first few days we were there, but that's just nitpicking. We heartily recommend it!

We just spent a few days at fattoria san paolo and all i can say it's that we had a very good stay. The house is charming, with a fantastic view on all the hills around. It has a comfy lobby, a big terrasse, a beautiful garden and a huge swimming-pool! The swimming pool is actually a big plus and it 's an organic one. The flat was big enough with a large bed, a very correct bathroom and the kitchen-living room was nice too. We had the blue flat and we were delighted with. The house is very quiet. not even a neighbourgh around, the road is about a kilometer away. The surrounding is gorgeous with a few nice little villages around. You can find grocery shops within 15 minutes driving. But dont expect to find near by a lively nightlife. What u coming to get here it's some calm (specially if you live in a big city like us!). Chiara is really helpful and her family are always smiling too. The pizzeria is very pleasant, open at week-end nights only with just a few tables, prices are very cheap.
I definitly recommand fattoria san paolo for everybody in search of a countryside break!

We found a little paradise in the middle of bright green Tuscan landscape!
San Paolo is a true heaven of peace: with very tasteful apartments and rooms, lots of space to explore and a bio-pool which entertained our children all day (though the frog population suffered a bit eventually). Chiara and her family were wonderful hosts, always being there for us whenever we needed information or help. Everything was well equipped and spotless clean. Although San Paolo is some miles away from the next supermarket, it has a good location for combining some visits (Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano being nearest) or just taking a walk or reading a good book near the pond. We definitely will be back.

This was such a picturesque place with wonderful hospitality from the owners. Their pizza restaurant was open 3 nights a week and was delicious! We easily could eat there each night. We toured the wonderful villages and cities close by and then would come home to totally relax by the swimming pool. This place is great for a family, a couple or singles. The owners had many excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat - nothing like getting the good information from the local!
We would return in a heart beat.

A wonderful farmhouse with beautifully appointed apartments and a gorgeous bio pool (which is absolutely enormous). It is set amid the hills west of Siena and the views are spectacular. Being slightly off the tourist track means it is quiet, but still within easy reach of historic centres such as Volterra and Siena, so one gets the best of both worlds. The owners are friendlly, welcoming and unfailingly helpful, and offer home made traditional pizzas on Thurs, Fri and Sat nights. I would not hesitate to recommend Fattoria San Paolo for a holiday combining relaxation with cultural visits.
