We stayed at Mseni again for 3 nights so I could go diving, and my wife could enjoy some pool time. This was our second time there and it was as good as last year. The staff go out of their way to please, even when the restaurant is busy. The rooms are spotless and the food in the restaurant is amazing. We will be back........

We were a big family group visiting over Christmas. We made use of the Seaview house and a couple of 2-person cottages.

The Seaview house was very well equipped and very comfortable for the family to use as an entertainment house. The rooms for the house is on the bottom floor, so nobody got into anyone's space.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant ensures that there is always somewhere to go for a drink or meal with an amazing view.

Gorgeous clean 2 & 4 person units. Very comfortable beds! Well kitted out. All private and in the shade. Great restaurant & pool. Close to beautiful beach. Would thoroughly recommend. Worked well with Amoray diving picking us up each morning.

Room tip: All good. Great to have 4 person self catering cottage if diving early morning so can make own breakfast

The locations is superb, the lodges are very nice and comfortable and well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast ist very nice.
The reason it doesn't get an excellent rating is because the Restaurant caters the nearby camping which makes it to be extremely crowded and the Hotel premisses are used to access the beach. The pool is between the large car park and the access to the beach. The pool is marked as residents only, however it is used constantly by campers on their way from the beach to cool up and get rid of the sand with the result that the pool does not invite for a swim.

Dear vverga955181,
Thank you for your review and detailed feedback. We are very glad to hear that you enjoyed the lodge and our staff during your stay.

We have a system in place to control access and have staff stationed permanently at the pool. Anyone without a Mseni wristband is not allowed to enter the restricted area, so any guests using the pool will have been staying at the lodge.

Unfortunately, over this time of year, all South African resorts are generally very busy, so we do hope that you will be able to return again some time when it is lovely and tranquil here? It is always best to avoid the High and Mid Seasons, if you prefer to stay when there are only a few people in the area.
