Cyril and Karine used to work in the marvelous Tourne au Verre in Cairanne, but "moved down to the plain" a couple of years ago to start this restaurant in the old schoolhouse on the famed Route National 7 (the nostalgic road down to the Cote d'Azur that is the subject of a Charles Trenet song that all the French know). A similar formula: good food, great wines by the glass and charming service. In summer the terrace out the back is great fun. It's not the most gastronomic place in the valley, but it doesn't try to be. Down here you eat great value delicious food, sample some brilliant wines and have a terrific night for the price of a slice of pizza and salad in most other countries.
