“Good restaurant but very expensive wine list”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

Had a decent rather than excellent meal here. Presentation was excellent and the food arrived piping hot and beautifully presented. My wife's steak was nicely cooked but the meat itself was too "new" and therefore a bit too tough. The lamb cutlets I had were overly fatty. Other than that it was an OK meal for the price.

Wines start at around €26 a bottle for a fairly ordinary red although there is always the option of a caraffe of the house plonk.

The view from the terrace is great, looking right out over the harbour. The fish looked very fresh and was on display in a chill cabinet so you could go and choose your dish. If I went back to Sausset I'd probably give them the benefit of the doubt and try again. Maybe we were unlucky.

The staff were attentive and friendly and the ambience was pleasant.

“An oasis.”
Reviewed August 19, 2012 via mobile

Sausset is not well blessed with the best selection of quality restaurants. This oasis in such a desert provided good food at a decent price. We have two kids who are used to eating out and they were treated well. We intend to go back there. If you can, sit in the upstairs balcony as one gets a great view.

“Very nice”
Reviewed July 11, 2012

Was walking around Saussett-les-Pins and decided to eat here for supper. Walked in and were were greeted by friendly cheerful staff. Was seated quickly and told the specials and took our drink order, returning quickly with the drinks. Nice views of the town and harbor from the restaurant. I can't remember what I had but I do remember it was very good! The food and drinks were so good there! The atmosphere was very good as well as I remember. Would definately eat here again as it all was very good. Even the prices were average. A very pleasant experience.
