It seems everything is done just as it should be at Finca Rosa Blanca. Rooms and publica areas are beautifully decorated, with lots of nice paintings, food (both breakfast and dinner) is delicious, pool area is divine, ping pong pavillion and hot tub very pleasant. In addition, the concern with the environment by the owners, which is reflected in the way they run the hotel, is an added reason to stay there. The inn is on a coffee farm. It was great to be able to walk around and see what coffe plants are like.

This wonderful Inn has spectacular views of the valley and is a great place to start and end your trip if you have stay overs in San Jose. Another great way to see the Volcanos is to stay here and go up for day trips....then head out to the beaches...

Every room is unique, the food is wonderful and the staff delightful and friendly. Everything about the Inn is thoughtful and designed to be eco friendly, yet very comfortable and wonderful for guests.

The web site is very accurate in all descriptions.

A fascinating piece of architecture with first rate food. It has to be said that the architecture is beginning to look a little dated (it looks a little like something out of Woody Allen's "Sleeper") and the hotel is not cheap by Costa Rican standards, but the food is outrageously good, the staff are wonderful and the swimming pool area is sublime.
