Ate at El Banco de Los Mariscos twice while in Heredia (Santa Barbara) while staying at Finca Rosa Blanca Inn.It was recommended by Toto at the front desk and our tour guide, Manolo. For dinner we sat outside and had the nicest waiter who spoke no English. Between our little Spanish and his trying so hard to help us with the menu we ended up eating a delicious three course meal. The ceviche is absolutely the best!!! The arroz con camerones (rice with shrimp) and filet ajillo were so delicious. The desserts of tres leches and coconut flan were also winners. The waiter showed me how the Ticos drink agua con gas (club soda), pouring in a tiny amount of salt and squeezing in fresh lime juice (they actually cut up the fruit in four pieces). We loved the place so much we went back for lunch two days later. Go here if you are in Heredia (Santa Barbara) !!!
