This is an amazing place in a natural setting.
Since there is a hike required to get there, and there are no amenities, few people go to this beach.
There are two trails to the beach, one over the ridge form Anse Marcel, and, the other along the shoreline from the Dump located just north of Cul de Sac. We recommend driving to the Dump and taking the shoreline trail. It is much easier, especially if you are carrying food, water and your beach stuff. The parking at the Dump was fine, but, do not leave anything valuable on display in your car. When we got to the beach, I walked the trail from the beach to Anse Marcel and back, it is worth the effort to climb the ridge and see the view. The beach is in a nature park, you will see the island in its natural state.
Take food and water for the day. Also, it is good to buy a beach umbrella for shade (we found one at Home n Tool in Marigot). Snorkeling was ok at the beach.
For an unforgettable day, you should go to this beach.
