We drove to Garraf from Sitges for our usual wander on the beautiful beach. La Cupula overlooks the beach and is an idillic spot. We went for lunch on December 30 and although it was very quiet a full menu was on offer. We had a Paella which was excellent. Simple desert, bottle of wine.
The staff were great and very attentive. With coffee came a complimentary bottle of Hierbas and wafers, fantastic when you realise we were not spending a great deal.
Highly recommended.

“Food poisoning and terrible service”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

It started with a huge fuss over where to sit. After finally being seated we were ignored and had to ask 3 times just to get a menu, then 2 times to have our order taken. The food looked ok, starters tasted fine. For main courses we (group of 4) ordered the paella and a Paella con langosta caldosa (lobster risotto) (paella with a soup like consistency). The paella was bland and for the price, stingy. The langosta caldosa was so overcooked that the rice fell apart, the lobster was mush, perhaps the lobster had been frozen? The claw meat was just water. I love lobster and have eaten it all along the coast of Spain. Perhaps this rice and lobster had been reheated from a previous day? I live in Barcelona, so this restaurant was planned to be a regular location we could have come to on Sundays with the family (we are still looking for a nice restaurant in Garraf). But the next day we all had bad stomachs, and diarrhoea. Even the couple with us, that only had this lunch in common. One of which is pregnant. We will not, and never recommend this restaurant. We will never in the future return to this resturant and advisor other to keep clear of this restaurant and those under the same owners.
