We stayed here for a couple of nights to see some of the Great War Monuments. The location is excellent, the rooms very nice and clean, and the host is helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. Would stay here again.

We have just returned from a two night stay at Andre's. The B&B was a perfect location for all the popular WW1sites. Andre was a perfect host and welcomed us with a much needed cup of tea and biscuits on our arrival. The rooms were of the highest standard - very clean with comfortable beds. The breakfasts were excellent and even included boiled eggs from Andre's own hens, and homemade yoghurt and jams. We would definetly recommend this B&B and if we return to the area would not hesitate in staying here again.

Staying in area to look over wwi cemetarys and monuments. Very personable owner, very interested in making you welcome. He gave good advice on places to visit. If I was visiting area again i'd definitely rebook here. parking outside no problem. good location for passendale, tynecot, Essex farm and Yorkshire trenches. Main road back to ypres no big deal either, it was just as convenient staying here as a hotel in ypres, only better.

Room Tip: well placed for viewing WWI sites. Rooms very clean and new looking. Breakfast excellent.

4 of us had a fantastic stay at this b&b. excellent value and the cleanest place you have ever stayed. The proprietor was very friendly and informative about the local area and enabled us to see much more than we would have done otherwise. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!! Andre is an excellent host and the B&B provides superb accommodation in a perfect location for visiting the Ypres battlefields of WW1. It is especially well placed for New Zealanders wanting to visit the site of the battles of Gravenstafel Spur (Broodseinde) on 4 October 1917 and the disaster that followed at Bellevue Spur on 12 October. It is also easy to find along the road into Zonnebeke with parking on the street right outside. It is stylish and new; a large comfortable bed, sparlking clean bathroom witha wonderful shower. The Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917 is just down the road. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in the Ypres battle zone.

We stayed here for two nights in April, 2013. Reserving was quick and uncomplicated, which was appreciated. Before we arrived, Andre sent us information about the area that proved to be very helpful in planning our stay. Once we arrived, Andre took a lot of time to help us finalize our plans: helping us to decide where to go and (to optimize time and driving distances), in what order. Rooms were great - large, clean, comfortable beds and very very quiet (including a view of his chickens in the backyard). We really enjoyed our trip to the Zonnebeke/Ypres area, and Andre and his B&B were a big reason for that.

Andre made us so welcome nothing too much trouble. Superb breakfast included fresh eggs from his own chickens own made jams.We would always go back there if ever we visited the area again. Andre is very knowledgable on the area and he speaks fluent english. The best B&B we have ever stayed at.
