Well, there was sky t.v ,and there was a great pool, and the hotels were clean and provided fresh laundry every day,but even though it was really hot, the air con was an extra charge.
There was also a small childrens pool, and a small play area, ealthough the play area was a bit rough and ready and a bit broken. Our hotel room was nice, but small and not what was described on the hotel brochure as we were expected to sleep in the same room as our daughter. We booked this through Thompson, and the tour rep was friendly and helpful, but the food at the hotel was good ,and also provided evening meals. Close to amenities and beach.
We travelled in September 2010.

Arrived bck in England on the 6th of September after a fantatic week at the tsilivi admiral Hotel. Before I went I was really concerened by all the neagative feedback the hotel had receved on here but its totally wrong the hotel was great. Yes the hotel has very few English people and does cater more for the russian and czech population but why shouldn't they cater more for the majority of their guests and they do relay all the important informatin in English and fully include you in the activities. The staff are not rude or ignorant be polite to them and they are polite to you the manager refered to me as his English freind for the week. Whoever said the drinks are watered down must have been on another planet they gave you a phenominal amount of alcohol in a cup which to be did not taste watered down it was that strong. The food on the whole was good always something you wouldlike at every meal and although it did get repetative what do you expect when they are catering for so many guests. The room was cleaned daily with new bed linen and towles provided which was good. the hotel is about 200 meters from the beach which was awsome and their is three swimming pools one for small children one for people who want to swim and one for you to playand have a laugh in and you could always get a sun lounger. Their was entertainment throughout the day ranging from aqua areonics to water vollyball and in the evening there was a mini disco for the children followed by some entertainment for the adults which I really enjoyed. All in All I loved my time at the Tsilivi admiral hotel and would defernetly return again and believe all the neagative reviews are by those brits who belive the whole world should cater for them and forgot this was a three star hotel not a five as for a three star hotel it is amazing

Room Tip: Try not to get block a if you like an early night

Just returned from the Tsilivi Admiral Hotel, and its great if you speak Russian and like watered down drinks. In fairness the room we had was good apart from the fact the bathroom door handle came off, loo seat came off and tv didn't work. The food was so so but nothing special. The worst problem was the fact that this hotel is geared up for eastern block visitors only and the receptionist told me she had never seen the English speaking Olympic Rep in all the time she has worked there.

Room Tip: All rooms are noisey

just arrived back from admials today, our second trip to the apartments, seriously disappointed in the clientel this time around, ignorant, rude and messy,we were one of two english families staying there!!! all inclusive is not worth the cost of the holiday as food just not up to standard, the same food served up day after day, inclusive drinks just not palitable, love zante, love planos tsilivi, but would not recommend these apartments, staff not greek nor friendly or helpful, avoid and save disappointment.

A very strange hotel, from the start it felt like we'd stepped into the twilight zone. All non greek
staff who made you feel like you were an inconvieniance exept for the staff behind the bar who were lovely. You had to be in for evening meal before 9pm, on a couple of occasions we and other holidaymakers were still eating at 9pm and then the staff come into the dining room to eat, thats fine by me but when they look at you as if you shouldn,t be there! and especially when there was no wine which earlier its in glasses on the bar, but they all had a glass in their hand and had also taken the dessert away before 9 to make sure they had it!!
To the owner You may save money on eastern european staff but most people go to greece for the place and also the greek hospitality which the polish staff have none, so the only good point is the room was ok and the maid service very good.

Room Tip: room ok with a pool view

Had taken a family holiday to Tsilivi a few years ago and loved it so much was eager to come back. Chose this hotel as it was in the Planos side and close to the beach. I suppose it was o,k value for money and rooms clean, with fresh towels brought daily. Had hoped to get some nice Greek hospitality but had to go to local bars and restaurants to get it as the satff at the hotel were rude, unfriendly and made us feel extremely unwelcome. With the exception of the barman who people have mentioned, he was great and it was of no surprise to find out he was studying marketing. I don't think the rest of the staff have even heard of the word 'customer'. Food was o.k but would have liked a little Greek food too and it would have been nice if the food wasn't cleared away before dinner had finished. Even worse was then having to watch all the Polish staff sat next to us eating all the food that had cleared away to make sure we couldn't eat it and watching the wine and beer brought back out for them when all we could get was water. We did manage to check out the hotel that some of other family were going to be staying in 'Tsilivi Beach Hotel' . Only wish we had booked there too, much better.
