“Worth only the location”

This hotel has the best location for whoever is getting the boat to the islands or the bus to the airport. On the other side is too expensive for what it offers. The rooms were a bit tacky. Even the wifi password was 1970...;)
No competitivness in the town might be the reason

My husband and I stayed 1 night here and picked this hotel because of it's location near the Rafina port. I would stay here again but only because of that reason. The hotel has good facilities and pleasant staff, but the standard of wall coverings/carpet/decoration is less than I would expect from a 4 star hotel. Our room also had 2 single beds next to each other when I had booked a double. Bus stop to airport very handy and only a short walk to bars/restaurants.

Stayed here for an overnight stay. Friendly reception but rooms stunk from cigarettes. Hotel needs a serious refurbish and sound proofing. Elevator big enough for on persons and two pieces of luggage.

Great location at Rafina harbor but it is the only good news. Double room was really small, air condition did not work and cleaning was very poor. The level of the breakfast had dropped down comparing two years earlier and the warm dishes were often finnished.
The hotel doesn’t earn four stars!

I only stayed here for one night before my ferry to Andros.
The hotel itself is located a 5 minute walk to the port.
Hotel is old and in need of a refurbishment....wallpaper is peeling off the walls in the hallways that lead to the rooms.

Rooms are small and very basic. The bed was comfortable enough to get some sleep. Breakfast is ordinary.
What other choice do you have when arriving on a late night flight and then with an early morning ferry.
There are no other hotels in Rafina to stay it...so unfortunately It's the only option!

Very nice hotel with very helping people. It's not the top luxurious hotel but it's clean and if you have a seaview room youi'll love the great view from your balcony. The glass panel gives you the impression that nothing is before you. Rafina Port is very busy and you'll enjoy all these ships coming and leaving the place. There is a lot of noise from the harbour but shutting the balcony door you hear nothing. Tje aircondition keeps you well during very hot temperatures in Greece.
There is a very good restaurant on site, and you eat a la carte. But if you choose the special meal package you'll pay almost nothing for dinner: € 10.- for 2 persons for a 3 course dinner!!!!
And the food is excellent and quite different everyday. The breakfast buffet is among the best I've ever had with variety and quality. The view from the veranda is super during the day and in the evening too.
It's next to the harbour, so you may catch the ferry for many Greek islands very easily. But it's also next to the bus stop for Athens Eleftherios Venizelos Airport. It means you don't need a taxi and it's next to the bus stop for Athens downtown too with a bus every 30 minutes. It's location is very convenient.
If you don't want to eat in the hotel, there are so many restaurants, snack bars, pizzerias, seafood places, caffeterias around the corner that you don't have to walk a lot to find what you need. Rafina is a big place and full of shops if you want shopping too. The corniche around the harbour gives the chance for a pleasant walk especially after sunset and have a break on one of many public benches. The huge sand beach is 2 minutes away and free of charge!
The hotel is very good for receptions too and there are a lot of British families who have chosen it for their special day. There is a reason for it: The view and the cheap prices especially for drinks!

Room Tip: Choose superior seaview room with a apecial meal package. You'll not regret it.

My husband and I arrived in Athens and immediately hopped a bus to Rafina. We arrived well before check in but were greeted warmly and shown to a room. The room was spotless and much larger than I had expected. We rested and then walked around the city. We came back to the hotel for dinner (which was scrumptious!) and as we had an early ferry to catch the next morning we decided to make it an early night. We had a few drinks on the patio and enjoyed immensly speaking with Stavros. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful and should I ever head back to Rafina, they're sure to have my business again. Many thanks.
