Staff at the hotel is not so friendly, there is no complimentary coffee and water in the room for a 4 star hotel, check-in is not before 4:30pm, wellness is ok, but if you want to use the sauna/hamman, there is an extra charge.

nous ne pouvons assurer un check in tôt dans la journée pendant les périodes de grande affluance comme Noël et jour de l'an il faut être un peu compréhensif
nous ne cachons pas que le hammam et le sauna ne sont pas en accés libre

Stayed for one night in Le Montana at the end of a walk around Mont Blanc and what a treat! Really nice, comfortable and luxurious hotel and just what was needed after 9 days walking. Husband and wife team are really friendly and the food was great - the best we had all trip. Rooms were very nicely decorated, spotlessly clean; bar / lounge area is very cosy and the outside seating area is great - with superb views over Mont Blanc. I didn't try the spa / pool area, but this also looked very good. Very highly recommended and I will definitely stay there again, winter or summer. Just a short walk up into the centre of Argentiere.

Room tip: Ask for a room with a view!

Two Australian families on the TMB walk enjoyed a great stay here on the night before the final day of walking. What a treat! Far more luxurious than expected it was difficult to get up and complete the walk. Family owned, stylish rooms, great amenities (pool, spa, deck, robes etc.), great activities including pool table and free movies. Best breakfast of the entire TMB route. Nice place to visit regardless reason or season.

Booked this hotel via the internet... how the majority of tourists book a hotel these days.... only to be told upon calling the hotel that the booking had been cancelled but they still had the most expensive suite still available... at more than double the price we had originally paid online... we identify to me that this hotel really isnt what it says on paper.. they are trying make a 3 star at best hotel into a 4 star... why advertise online if you do not want to pay the fees for the bookings, without online bookings your repeat custom would be nil.
Completely incapable of any customer service at all... the gentleman was rather friendly but the woman if looks could kill... I have no idea as to why you would want to run a hotel if you are incapable of having an inch of customer Service skills, suck it up and employ someone who can at least serve the guests in a friendly way. Breakfast well... what can I say... finishes at 10.30 on the dot.. I saw a lady come into join her family who were already eating to be rudely told by the owner, breakfast is over.. and she began to remove item of food from the dining room. At €18 a pop this is not what you expect in a 4 star hotel! For €400 a night for our room I expected so so much more.. the value of service is everything when you are away from home... It was awkward to even head downstairs with peering death stares being made at guests. The hotel also has no form of evening meal, paid for sauna, the only great facility at the hotel was the pool and jacuzzi... Sort out the service!

Stayed with group hiking the Tour de Mt. Blanc. Wonderful hotel well-situated. Very comfortable and sizeable (for France) sleeping rooms. Lovely sitting room in bar and lobby area, with fireplace. Dinner and breakfast both OK. This would be a four-star review but for the inhospitable and sometimes even rude staff, particularly the woman who manned the office during most of our stay.

Inhospitable Guest
and totally impolite who allows himself to put his feet on the tables
and come to take his room the first day at 9:00 am and not understanding that it was not possible
