I stayed there in February 2013. Well firstly from Sydney, Parametta is a long way off. By cab, as well as by train, it takes considerable amount of time. The apartment building isn't very tough to find. It's about 5 minutes from the train station. Though at night the area looks a little unsafe, there's a police precinct just next door, so it should be safe.
As someone mentions in their review, this is an apartment and not a hotel. So there is no service to be expected. My room was a long narrow room, with all household equipments possible. The internet is chargeable, and mostly doesn't work well on the higher floors. My room was decently clean. The balcony overlooks yet another apartment, and not scenic view at all. The receptionist told me that calls to the room after 10 pm will not be routed, as it disturbs the residents. He was not very hospitable.
The stay was fine, they don't really clean the rooms much during your stay. And all utensils and dishes used must be cleaned up. The bathroom is small and has the basic necessities. Usually a stay costs about 150 AUD, which is quite expensive for this place. It's better to live in a dorm kind of place if you're not going to be indoors much.
