I spent 3 nights here with my husband and 82 yr old mother, at christmas. The positive aspects of this apartment are definitely its quiet location and fabulous views from its pleasant terrace. Inside is pleasant with adequate bathroom and (small) kitchen. Note that there is a pretty strenuous climb up steps from the road without continuous grab rail all the way up. However we had a number of serious issues which were very frustrating and truly detracted from our stay. These included major problems with virtually all doors - bathroom door locked itself such that we could not get in, mum's bedroom door ONLY openable with a key which was not left in the door and we had to discover for ourselves, and the handle of the only door to the ouside fell off and we had to reassemble it. We were very cold at night and there was only one blanket apiece. There were two small electric heaters which we had to move about but these tripped the electricity frequenlty, leaving us in the pitch black. The hot water for the shower switched off after less than 2 minutes of showering and one had to wait and retry at interval before it could be coaxed back on again. The bedding for the (narrow) single bed was literally not wide enough to tuck in on any side of the bed let alone both, so made for an uncomfortable and cold night. Finally, we had asked in advance if there was an oven and had been assured by Antonio that there was. When we got there with our dinner to cook in said oven, there was no oven. When we rang Antonio (whom we never met over the entire visit - he simply left us the key) he tried to assure us there was an oven before finally admitting he had made a mistake. When asked for a solution to our dinner problem he simply said he could not help. Nor was he interested in the hot water problem. Following our stay we asked him to provide an email address so we could send feedback and this was not forthcoming. I do not think we would return.
