What I loved about this restaurant was their very traditional Spanish interiors and atmosphere. From the table legs to the wall décor, you definitely get that feeling of being in southern Spain.

We greatly appreciated the waiter attempting to explain some things to us in English although we did try our best to converse in Spanish as well. We didn't realise we had ordered too much for two people and the waiter was very proactive and considerate enough not to bring out our extra orders so we didn't get charged for them.

The grilled and fried seafood platters were scrumptious! Fresh, tender, and sweet from the sea! We couldn't fault the food at all and it was all reasonably priced. It was quite popular with the locals as well and there's a very laidback and relaxed ambience to the place which is very lovely indeed.

One of the waitresses even gave me a bougainvillea flower and so I had to promise to write a review on tripadvisor for them lol. Gracias!

This restaurant was a lovely change from the simpler "regular" restaurants of southern spain. The food was affordable, beautiful and very tasty. The staff brought crayons and paper for our child on their own initiative, and was attentive and helpful. I recommend the Tatake Atun!

We went for beer and tapas in these nice bar in San Jose (the village is very nice and has lots of bars and restaurants) and really liked it! Very good tapas (mostly seafood) and great beer!
Very cheap, sooo spanish! Not right in the center or by the sea but very pleasant anyway.
We loved it! Would go back...

After dining in some mediocre restaurants, I and my partner were pleasantly surprised that this restaurant off the beaten track had great service, peaceful surroundings (on the night of San Juan festivities) and very good food. The restaurant is close enough to the beach so that you can benefit from the sea breezes and protected from the heat of the sun with a covered open terrace and on street dining under trees.
It´s very reasonably priced and the fish was deliciously fresh. Great presentation and advice from the very friendly staff.
