“Great value seafood menu of the day.”
Reviewed August 15, 2014 via mobile

A friendly waiter gave us an extra choice of the daily specials for 2 priced at 20€/30€/40€ we choose the 40€ assorted seafood with a large salad to start and the main course another large portion of mixed seafood.
Deserts where again mixture of profiteroles, rice pudding, flan, pineapple, etc. Includes a jug of tinto de verano. The kids shared an adult pizza that was good quality. The whole lot came to 52€ great value.

“Reliably delicious”
Reviewed July 29, 2014

We have visited San Jose every year for many years. Our favourite place to eat out is Mediterraneo. This is partly because of how friendly and helpful Dani and Momo both are, the reasonable prices (for example a bottle of very drinkable house white for 9 euros) and also because of the variety of delicious dishes that they serve. This summer we had an excellent arroz negro on one occasion and on another a personally requested paella with rabbit and seafood that was wonderful. The paella pans (and the back of the spoon) went back scraped clean! Salads are great - for a change we tried the one with pulpo and it was hit. It's good to have an option for something a bit different and the generous and authentic tagines with cous cous are incredible. We are normally not interested in dessert, but for the first time this year we thought we should try one between us and became hooked; they are lighter and less sweet than the typical Spanish versions that never attract us and are definitely to be recommended.

“Great family restaurant”
Reviewed July 27, 2014 via mobile

Wonderful views overlooking the harbour, attentive service and huge variety of dishes. We have eaten here on three occasions during our stay and have always found a warm welcome. The paellas are very good- seafood, "mixted" and vegetarian all get the thumbs up. Grilled fish and battered whitebait also very good and fresh. Highly recommended.

“Amazing Restaurant”
Reviewed June 17, 2014

This is one of the best restaurants in the area. The food is always fresh and cooked exactly to your liking. I whole heartedly recommend the fish as its their speciality. Food is locally sourced and delicious, the service is personal and the reception you get is very warm and friendly however busy they may be. The restaurant is located by the port so the view of an evening is quite something. The have an excellent choice of wines and everything is very reasonably priced.
I highly recommend this restaurant.
