Description: We are a family-run tearoom focusing on using good quality local produce. We serve breakfasts, home-cooked lunches, light snacks & our highly regarded home-baked cakes and scones, enjoyed on their own warm from the oven, with clotted cream & jam, or as part of our celebrated afternoon teas. We have 16 loose leaf teas from which to choose, and James Gourmet Coffee from Ross-on-Wye. Booking is advisable for lunch & especially for Sunday roasts served every Sunday 12-3. Special dietary requirements can be catered for, with gluten-free & limited dairy-free items available on the daily menus, but please let us know when making your reservation if you have specific dietary needs. We serve our hot food menu (including breakfasts) until 3pm all year round.

Last time we went was for Sunday Lunch which was delicious. I addition their cakes, scones etc. are just perfect. Just about everything is locally sourced and you can certainly tell. The staff are helpful and friendly.

As the café is comparatively small its good advice to book a table for Sunday Lunch.

Many thanks for taking the time to review us, it's always very pleasing to get positive feedback, and to share these comments with our team. We do, as you suggest, always advise people to book for Sunday roasts as we are often full. We also make all our food fresh, and we prepare a set amount of roasts based on how many people we have booked in with a rough estimate of how many non-booked visitors we might expect. This helps us to reduce waste and produce high-quality food.

Would highly recommend this restaurant as the food and service are excellent. We went there for a private evening function and it was a perfect venue, except for the weather which stopped us enjoying the gardens etc. The quality and quantity of the food could not be faulted and the staff were all efficient and friendly. I will definitely be going back

We stumbled across this place and we were very pleased to get a table. An extensive menu of teas, food and cake tempted us in. The freshest of ingredients all very reasonably priced, delicious and served with a smile. Highly recommended!
