We havee just moved to the area,a nd only just discovered this as one of our nearest pubs. We went early in the evening to find the place already lively. Warm friendly atmosphere. We were seated in the bar to look at menus and have a drink, then taken through to the dining room. Both warm and welcoming, and interesting decor. The food was superb. I had leg of duck confit with noodles. No knife was needed. the duck simply melted off the bone, and was utterly delicious. My wife had scallops and was equally well pleased. Service was first class. We will certainly be eating here again!

God beer and a wide choice on the menu. The food was good and the service excellent.
The pub has a good atmosphere and was very busy - even on a Wednesday, which is a good sign.

The friend with whom we were staying recommended the Red Hart and we were glad that we followed up her recommendation. The menu is not very adventurous but the meals are reasonably priced and very well cooked and presented. Helpings are generous. Service was speedy and friendly.

Well worth a visit if you are in the area. A very pretty pub in attractive surroundings.

We came here as a family party of 9 aged from 2 to 69. There is a good range of menu and the service was cheerful and friendly. One of the children's sausages was not cooked through, but this was quickly addressed with a suitable apology. It's an interesting old building with a pretty garden and a lovely children's play area.
