We havee just moved to the area,a nd only just discovered this as one of our nearest pubs. We went early in the evening to find the place already lively. Warm friendly atmosphere. We were seated in the bar to look at menus and have a drink, then taken through to the dining room. Both warm and welcoming, and interesting decor. The food was superb. I had leg of duck confit with noodles. No knife was needed. the duck simply melted off the bone, and was utterly delicious. My wife had scallops and was equally well pleased. Service was first class. We will certainly be eating here again!
