Description: Welcome to The Award Winning Farmer's Boy Inn Longhope Simply put, we love food. Not just for what it is, but for the experience that accompanies it. Homely surroundings, great company and conversation, attentive waiters, who become friends and of course fine wines from around the world. After an evening of gastro food delights, gourmet pies and laughter in front of the open fire retire to our courtyard of boutique individually designed rooms and drift off, to wake up to the sounds, sights and smells of the idyllic Gloucestershire countryside. Followed of course by a hearty breakfast and maybe a stroll up the majestic May Hill

Stopped here for something to eat on our way to Ross on Wye. We knew of it but had no idea what the food would be like. Well, we were pleasantly suprised. Known, we now know, for its many pies. They are delicious and enormous!! Reasonably priced and worth the money.

We stopped there on the way back a few days later and bought some to take home. The have a deli with local made produce, pies obviously, but local brews and cheese. Nice place to eat and drink. Staff friendly and attentive.

Nice friendly restaurant with good food, wine list small but main course pies are filling. Tip don't sit too close to the fire as it can get very hot. Worth a visit.

Famed for its pies but in truth they all taste rather similar. A typical pub restaurant in which the service is friendly and the setting ok. Nothing special but a reasonable place for a meal at reasonable prices. All the signs outside are a bit naff!

Food was good but served on a flat wooden board so was very difficult to eat the food. Restaurant was quite chilly. Friendly service though.
