We booked very last minute and got a fantastic deal on the room (Bindaree Room GBP49). Tricky to find the pub without a map or a GPS (we were relying on Google Maps...) but easy to find our way back to the main roads the next morning.
The pub was everything we expected - rustic, charming, fire going, cosy. The food was very good - recommend the haggis! There was a huge selection of cereals and preserves for breakfast, although we found the food a bit greasy - but plentiful!!
The room was comfortable although was more well worn than the photo implied. The bathroom was basic but clean. We would go back for the food, drink and service - but would try a different room.More
