We visited them in the last week of may, they have a beautiful ancestral home which has a lovely lawn and oversees their plantations. The entire set up is really stunning. Their log huts near the valley have the most breathtaking views. We enjoyed the two days with them, they served good food and the most awesome coffee.

We loved the place so no complaints just one tip for the owners Neema and Rajesh, indeed its lovely rustic place and very close to nature, but being with kids we thought the room corners/ under table/ bed/ chairs could be cleaner as kids reach in every corner .

It is a great place to stay, the owners were quite friendly and great hosts. The place is charming, though its a little away from the main town, the property it self is worth a stay. The tree houses offer great view and quite private. The main house also is great, typical example of old kerala tharvadu.Food was great. Over all I am 110% satisfied with the place and will love to return for another vacation and will recommend to anyone without doubt. Great job neena and rajesh !!

Room Tip: All rooms have view of the plantation in the back, but first floor will be a better option if possib...

Hidden away in coffee plantation is this beauty of a home stay, which has to be seen to be believed. We already thought the cottages and balconies of the main historic plantation building were gorgeous and spacious. We loved watching a thunderstorm sweeping through the area from the sheltered terrace. However nothing beats the location and view of the two wooden 'tree houses' which are perched on the edge of the mountain overlooking the deep valley and mountain vista. The deluxe treehouse especially is beautifully built with eucalyptus logs, an upper and lower balcony and a loft with an extra bed. It feels rustic and utterly luxurious, with large windows on three sides overlooking the balcony and the valley, a comfortable bed with mosquito netting and a clean bathroom.
We enjoyed talking with Neema and Rajesh during meals and we ate about three times as much as we normally would, because it was so delicious. Neema arranged for a guide and drivers for us, whenever we needed a ride and even let us take a book from the small library of books left for guests. We had to leave too soon and very early in the morning but continued our travels with a feeling of enchantment and calm.

Room Tip: The deluxe tree house is perfect for a couple or a couple with kids, since it has an alcove with an...

My friend and I stayed here last week and wanted to share with everyone what a gem of a place this is!!..
The location is somewhat off the beaten track with no signs from the main road but have faith it's there and it's wonderful! We stayed 3 nights in the large treehouse - which has the most amazing view across the hillsides and up to Chembra Peak. The treehouse even has hot water in the shower and each evening passed sitting out on the veranda looking out at the view was heavenly!
The family who own and run this coffee plantation were brilliantly helpful and friendly too- we felt very privileged to be there and part of it all. They were able to advise us on the local guide to Wayanad- Sabu- who took us on the best tour of the local area- including caves, plantations, villages and seeing a wild elephant!
The food was the best of all of our trip- simply delicious!

Room Tip: The treehouses have the best views!

Neema and Rajesh are the perfect hosts. They take care and interact with the guest all the time.
The entire property is amazing, but the attraction is the treehut. What a great experience to live in a treehut overlooking the valley, listening to the nature sounds, see the fog creep up at dawn. We loved it. The hut is also is very comfortable and has all amenities.
Another asset are the meals they serve. Breakfast and dinner were just delicious. The pineapple curry, coconut chutney and pancakes were awesome.
We loved every minute we stayed.

Room Tip: Definitely the tree hut.

This was one trip we will never forget. Nature at its best with hosts who make you feel comfortable and have taken pains to build this place. We started with a drive in peak summers of Bangalore and Kerala but ended up feeling so cold that on the last day, we were actually waiting for sun in the morning. Yes, the tree hut is so pleasant! Without fans and AC, with only the breeze to ventilate, it can get really cool; something that Bangalore is missing these days.
Neema is no doubt a fantastic cook, for 3 days, 6 meals, not a single dish was repeated! And someone as choosy as me, was enjoying authentic Kerala cuisine! In between all of this, she also reads, cultivates, takes care of the place, spends time on the net, phone etc.
Rajesh is also a multi-faceted person... avid photographer, nature lover, grows everything possible in that terrain and sometimes grows somethings impossible also!
If you are looking for a peaceful home-stay, with no room service, well-built and well-located tree hut, nice spacious rooms, treks, no disturbance from humans, natural surroundings, etc then this is the best place in Wayanad.
Tips:
- There are some tea estates also nearby. Make for a good drive / stroll.
- Climb to the hill is not steep; good drive.
- Roads are good; normally govt repairs them every year.
- Nearest ATM is couple of kms away.

Room Tip: - Tree Huts are the best. - The rooms in main building are also peaceful, more spacious.

We booked the deluxe tree house and what a good decision that was. The acomodation is pretty basic but the views are jaw-dropping and the place has loads of character. Well worth the price. Also, the food was the best we had in our 3 weeks in Kerala. Truly outstanding, especially when the spice is turned up. The nearby National Park offers great opportunities for elephant spotting (do a trek not one of the noisy jeep trips). All in all a fantastic place.
