I usually don't bother to write a review of the accommodation we stay at, but Ente Veedu was such a wonderful experience that it overwhelmingly justifies making an exception. The location is tranquil, the plantation fascinating, the setting is stunning and parts of Wayanad are breathtaking. However, what makes being a guest at Ente Veedu so special are the wonderful hosts, Seetha, and her husband, Raja, and the lovely support staff.

Their hospitality, knowledge, generosity and genuine interest in making you a member of the family create a warm and personal experience that no hotel can come close to. As if that isn't enough, the food is varied and absolutely superb. We stayed at luxury hotels either side of our visit to Ente Veedu, and Ente Veedu beats them all hands down!

Thank you Seetha, thank you Raj and thank you to all the staff.

I am just back from Enteveedu and before leaving have already confirmed my booking for the next year. We stayed there for three days and it was one of the best experience.Wonderful host and great food. There was warmth everywhere right from the hostess to the staff. The kids had a wonderful time and the walk through the plantations was real fun and learning for us.
The view from the room in the morning was awesome. All in all thank you enteveedu.

Room Tip: CHANDRA for a great view and JAL for the bamboo experience

I am just back from Enteveedu and already planning my next trip with my parents! I have stayed many homestays but Enteveedu beats it all. Thanks to very enthusiastic and welcoming attitude Ms. Seetha and her husband Mr. Raja, which also gets reflected one-to-one in their support team. It is really a home away from home. Accomodation is great, some of them with very beautiful balconies. Food is also very homely and carries very authentic Keralite taste. Waiting to be there again.

Enteveedu is a great place. Well maintained rooms and clean surroundings welcome you. Hostess Ms Seetha is a very hospitable person and the Kids had real fun playing around. Dinner though was expensive at Rs 750 (Non Veg) for the spread offered. It would be better if the dinner was packaged coz where would one go in the night searching!!

My husband and I stayed at "Ente Veedu" during our Easter weekend trip in 2012.

We loved it! It was probably the first time we were out on a trip and wanted to spend more time in the hotel facility than galavanting oustide.

The food was good, the rooms were clean. The hosts were excellent! I used to wake up early and sit in porch with a great cup of tea, watching the mist slowly clear away..... it was beautiful and peaceful!!

Do roam around the neighbouring regions without any particluar destination in mind.... that way, we stumbled onto an old Jain Temple, wild flowers, coffee plantations, etc

Room Tip: The room on the topmost floor of the main house has the best view and is the cleanest

This is a heart felt run home stay. Down a driveway into the courtyard in the middle of a coffee plantation with pepper. First thing I noticed was the outdoor hammock - it signalled a suitably relaxed atmosphere and nature experience. Rooms are comfortable functional - any special factor coming from the spaciousness and views from the private terraces on the second floor rooms. Out over paddy fields and forest and hills. Back of home stay terraces look into the coffee plantation - forest views, sounds and shade.

Meals were delightful. We were given a tour of the estate and surrounds one our first morning - abundant range of spices, fruits and vegetables, coffee of course, a ruined but beautiful Jain temple and rubber plantations (we saw how rubber is made - amazing).

A very relaxing and welcoming place - very restful and natural - with rightly passionate, proud and unassuming owners.

Room Tip: Go for second floor rooms with front facing private balconies
